This highly capable spear has a modular design making it ideal for taking along on adventures! Whether you are camping, hiking, hunting, building a survival kit or embarking on a prolonged expedition, the Modular Samburu Spear makes an excellent companion.
The design has been inspired by Kenya's somewhat nomadic Samburu tribe, whose warriors use modular spears to dispatch leopards, lions and other predators that threaten their livestock. A fixed length spear would be too cumbersome to travel with. The Modular Samburu Spear provides the solution: a compact yet powerful spear which assembles in moments.
To assemble, simply fit the blade and butt segments tightly to the center handle piece, then fix them in place using retaining screws (provided).
1055 High carbon steel blade, blade shaft, and butt shaft.
Double sided blade with wide leaf geometry.
Wide blade is designed to be hard to remove from animal targets, increasing the spear's stopping power.
US Hickory hardwood center shaft (handle/grip section)
Weight: 19.2 oz.
Measurements: 4 in. blade, 5 ft. overall when assembled.
A hard synthetic sheath with snap closure is included for safe storage and carry.

Pros:good weight to it,feels nice in your hands, and didn't take long to start hitting stuff about twenty five feet with decent accuracy
Cons: the screws that hold each section are going to require you to actually drill into the center piece where they will fit into.so if you think you can just simply put it together it's actually going to require you to do some work on it first.also after about the fifth throw the metal welds starts to give a bit and it's starts to bend off balance making you have to bend it back after each throw.
I give it a two because you can make this work but for the price you might as well get a complete spear and not a three section one
