Lethal against any obstacles in the bush. This thing is a Machete on steroids. I have a affinity to machetes among other knives, swords etc.... and I am a big fan of British cold rolled steel but when I grab this sword, it becomes the jack of all blades and can pull duty in a variety of roles. a light oiling and she's ready for next time. I actually like the sheath and it wears well on the hip in the field. with regular care and maintenance, United Cutlery's rendition of the Chinese War sword is a Excellent all purpose tool that'll last a lifetime! Sword preformed as well as my $300 cold steel long sword I can not recommend it enough

This thing is far from a wall hanger. Very well made, sturdy with absolutely no rattle. Nice, thick blade built to be functional but nice enough for display. The sheath is also good quality, which was a bit of a pleasant surprise. It just needs a bit of breaking in.

I eagerly awaited this blade and for the most part I am not disappointed. The sheath is minimal but functional, and made of a stiff leather, my only complaint would be the same for all sheaths. it's made for right handed people and I am left handed. Wish I knew a fix for this. The blade is solid, the handle grip is nice but I feel the added grip on the top front of the handle is a bit rough on bare hands. It's a properly heavy sword, and I need to get some watermelons to test it on. I've already scratched some of the paint slicing cans in my backyard.
