I was amazed at the low price for this knife. It seems to be based around the original WW2 Commando knife designed by Fairburn&Sykes. Since the little local difficulties in Iraq, Afghanistan etc I can assure anyone who needs to use this knife for its intended purpose, that it does the job. From personal experience as a Royal Marine Commando (now retired) I can honestly say that it is a very useful item to have though I would never consider using it as a throwing knife or for cutting as its the point which is the main offensive part of this weapon. I carried one since 1979 and I never once regretted having it to hand.

I had good expectations for this dagger. I was planning to use it as a throwing dagger, and my expectations were not met, but rather blown away. I do not give this five stars in order to not appear like a first time knife user and the fact that it does come sharp, but only in an extremely small Scandi grind. But it is an excellent knife for survival and assault tasks, and I actually plan on ordering it again. I also suggest buying the ninja style machete. and defender bowie.

Much smaller and quite a bit denser than I thought originally. I ordered two because of the low price. Quick note; they come sharp, and are completely full tang. I do have a small problem; perhaps two problems. The sheath that is pictured did not come with either of the knives. With that said about the sheaths; they don't fully fit inside the sheath. I don't understand the strip of fabric on the sheath that stretches. But, all in all, a great buy for the price.

Seems to be a ok quality knife, it is light and sharp the sheath is not the one in the picture its a poor quality fake leather one. Overrall great buy for the price

Mine arrived with a broken tip, but this isn't meant to be used for fighting or utility. This makes a decent costume accessory and addition to any collection.

Solid knife, it feels perfect in the hand, double edge

I bought this knife as my first purchase from True Swords, and I was impressed overall. The sheath is a bit crap - not the one pictured, hilt guard is a piece of elastic that doesn't fit over the blade, etc. Overall, though, it was a great buy and the best knife you'll find for this cheap. The black finish on mine was quite good, and the blade itself is very sharp. There's just something about it that feels good to hold. It's very light, and the hilt fits well in my hand. I'm planning on buying a second, and buying a lot more of True Swords' products in future. Never change, TS, never change.

I just got this knife, and I must say, it is surprisingly light. I read the other reviews, and they said that the sheath would be extremely low quality, and they were right, the sheath is incredibly poor. Instead of the button clasp that is featured, it is a mere elastic band. The knife itself is very good, but mine required a bit of sharpening after I opened it.

Great knife easily one of my favorites and very cheap. Once again true swords doesn't fail.
