I've had this for sometime now (over a year, possibly 2) and I will start by saying the first win is because it's blue (my favorite color). The blade is wonderful (even though mine is a discolored from attempting to clean it). As for cutting I would say to keep it to light stuff like cardboard and bottles because anything heavier will dent, scratch and possibly break the blade. I do agree with the one review that it's heavier than my first Katana but you get used to it. For the most part it's a wall hanger and does that very well.

Well I got this yesterday and it was exactly as I expected to but. Firstly it's blue which is great. Secondly this katana is a bit heavier than my musashi katana but that's fine. The blade is thicker on top and has a very clear blood groove. It's pretty sharp from but can always be sharpened more. Overall it's an amazing sword and a pretty good price.

I just got this Katana 10 minutes ago. First impressions were quite impressive. The sword came pre oiled and the hamon line was stunning. The tsuka was tightly wrapped and the all the spacings and the tsuba was firmly in placed. The saya is glossy and nicely colored. Overall this sword is amazing and lives up to the Ten Ryu name.
