Inspired by the pages of Battle Angel Alita and brought to life in massive form, this is your accurate replica of Angel Alita's "Damascus Blade" butterfly knife. Designed by Lam Dao and presented to Alita by her motorball mechanic, Ed, this weapon is built to perfection. Our model lives up to the legend.
As if a Solid Steel Frame, hardwood Oak side panels, and sharpened 440 Stainless Steel blade were not enough, this butterfly takes it to the next level. Stretching 38 inches long when opened and weighing in at 10 pounds, this piece is stunning. We used the highest quality workmanship possible and it shows. Thick metal frame, stable body, secure latching system, custom designed blade. The hardwood side panels really make the piece come alive with color and form.

Alita's drive and skill makes her the best hunter-warrior the Scrapyard has seen. Her skill and reputation as a hunter-warrior and motorball player elicited interest from Tiphares, the elite society suspended over the scrapyward to which she harbors some hostility. Eventually, after a confrontation with a resurrected and enhanced rival, Alita is forced to become an agent for Tiphares. Despite this ironic twist of fate, Alita thinks of herself as a possible bridge between the utopian Tiphares and impoverished Scrapyard.
