Dating all the way back to the 17th century, this saber closely mirrors that used during the Golden Age of Piracy by the infamous pirate, Blackbeard. The weapon of choice when stepping aboard an opposing vessel, this sword is designed for reliability during Pirate battles and raids.

The cutlass, or short sword, was ideally constructed with a shorter, fatter blade allowing it to handle increased tension from close quarter combat.

Equipped with stainless steel, 22 1/4" blade with rounded by cast metal basket allowing for superb hand protection. Includes stunning leather sheath. 28 1/4" overall

    About Blackbeard:
Blackbeard (c. 1680'“November 22, 1718) was a notorious English pirate who had a short reign of terror in the Caribbean Sea between 1716 and 1718, during a period of time referred to as the Golden Age of Piracy. His final and best known vessel, the Queen Anne's Revenge, is believed to have run ashore near Beaufort Inlet in North Carolina in 1718.
