This sword has a good balance (the center of balance is roughly 2.5 inches from the cross-gaurd) and feels good to swing. The blade is not sharp out of the box, but that is easily fixed. I tested the sword on some stumps and logs, and it cut fairly well for a dull blade, although the threaded pommel loosens quickly, forcing you to continuously tighten it. The sheaths belt loop is held to the sheath by two metal rings, and it broke after only a few minutes of wearing. You can easily fix this by attaching a heavy duty ring or wire, but this is still inconvenient. I suggest this if you want to hang it on a wall, but if you want a sword for dueling look somewhere else.
This is a pretty dam good sword, sturdy, well weighted, fine blade, it did come dull but that's an easy fix, the hilt is my favorite part, it feels epic when I hold it, I've been swinging around ever since I got it, realized quite quickly that it takes quite a bit of energy to swing for a long period of time, the only problem I have with it is the Pakistan stamp on the blade, one side of the blade near the tip looks like it was bent, probably was hit or something, a good buy though, will enjoy it for as long as I have it.
I was pleased when i removed this from its box. It has a nice weight and feel to it. It even feels comfortable hanging from its belt loop.
This sword is amazing! It is sharp out of the box, the sheath is great, and the hilt has the perfect feel.
The celtic sword of war is heavy you can tell by the feel of it in your hand. The edge wasnt sharpen to good when I got it other than that its good sword to have in my collection.
I love this sword. It has a really heavy duty feel to it. Not too sharp out of the box, the sheath hang a little low, but those were easily fixed. The coloring on the handle is really cool, and I love it.
Very pretty sword and I love the sheath, it makes me feel like I can actually move with it rather than I have to just stand around or my sword might hurt me. Only thing I have against it are a few dark "skidd" marks along the blood groove that cannot be taken off, but I find it is common with most replica swords. Otherwise, it is balanced like I expected it to be. Great for practice swinging if you're into medieval re-enactment.
I was very pleased with this product, the blade is sharp and long and the handel is very sturdy and has a nice wooden grip to it. The sheath is very thick and is also strurdy. It also fits perfectly onto the blade. if you are wanting a historical battle weapon, this will be perfect for you.
