this cane looks like a plastic stick... but it's hexagonal head design makes it a nasty weapon...i broke bottles like beer and big wine bottles in one's a walking cane and if you have to defend yourself one hell of a defence weapon...this stick does need a rubber tip but you can buy them at walmart or walgreens..if you need a cane and a defence from muggers this is it!

I'm 28 years old, and I often have trouble with my clubbed foot. Most of the time it doesn't bother me, but when it does it's really hard to get around. A crutch was overkill and I didn't want to buy the adjustable aluminum "old man" cane at CVS. This was the cane I've been looking for. It looks great and I can tell just by holding it that this is one tough, solid cane. Thanks to the solid polypropelene construction, I don't have to worry about it bending, rusting, cracking or rotting.
The best part is that when you hold it from the other end, you can tell this thing is designed to "get down to business" if need be.
I don't really care about the visible seem, but I do wish it came with a rubber tip, this one tends to slip a little.
    Definitely worth the price!
