Let me say this :o Omg I recently bought the TURTLEMAN bowie from another site and I thought it would be tough to beat. This is very close. This one is a little longer and the molle sheath is a little nicer but the handle just feels a little weird. I'm sure with some use my comfort level will grow.
plain and simple this is a monster of a blade and should probably be classified as a short sword. Great buy worth twice as much.

You don't realize how big 10 1/2 inches is until you hold this in your hands. This knife is huge, The Sheath that you get with it is actually not bad for what you would normally get at this price range. The compass is a generic compass and the sharpening stone maybe a bit to small for this knife, honestly though i haven't even used it because i have a knife sharpener.

All in all this is a great knife, the only minor complaint i have (and i mean extremely minor, i am just looking for atleast one critique) is the handle is thinner than i would like, and is more boxed then round at the turns, but honestly its not even an issue for me, it was just something i noticed when i first opened the box, but doesn't even bug me now that i have used the knife

    Ok a few things
Pros- This bowie is enourmous, its clean, it comes sharp, sheath is fantastic, decent whetstone, compass is decent too.
Cons- god i cant think of anything thats wrong with the knife

The shipping however was, for the first time, very dissapointing. it took over a week for the package to arrive and i live in illinois. i was very dissapointed with the length and fed ex more than trueswords. thats why i gave this a 4/5
    the knife is 5/5
    shipping 1/5

(this is my brothers account) This was my first buy from trueswords. My brother had ordered some things from this site and they all came quickly in great condition so i thought i'd give it a try. (of course) I made sure to read the description and comments before buying the knife. I love knives more then swords but i like big bulky knives. I saw 15 inch's and i was in. The knife is beefy and massive, came very sharp, and the holster actually works (unlike most). The compass is okay but moves way to much even when placed down and the whet stone is good (for those who actually know how to use one) I personally am pretty bad with them but im getting better so i bought a sharpener. Sharpens easily, got it razor but whats funny is even at razor its hard for it to bite you. I learned that, my brother and I place milk jugs full of water on a fence. I cut the jug thinking it wasn't going to work. To my surprise I didn't only cut through the jug but it hadn't even moved a cm. The knife is heavy near wear the blade and hilt connect. The knife weighs maybe 4 pounds but unbelievably (and im a weak individual) my arm never gets tired swinging it and you don't feel the weight unless you swing it downward. It's very sturdy and can be used on heavy duty work. Knives like this roll in for 90 - 200 dollars but for a 35$ knife along with a good sheathe, whet stone, and an okay compass, you'd be a complete idiot not to buy this.

This is simply a thing of beauty. I knew that it was a massive blade but i didn't expect this much knife honestly. It was a VERY happy surprise to say the least. This is a must have for lovers of a bowie plain and simple. It came sharp but with the sharpening stone and a few minutes of my time its now like a razor. I literally ran it down my arm and watched the hairs fall off. The sheath is very good quality also. I just wish i knew what the velcro straps on the back could be used for. Overall this was an awesome buy. Ill be buying at least 2 more. Another one for myself and one for a friend as a late christmas present.

Good knife, looks decent, going to take it camping in a few weeks, will have more to say about it then. Needs sharped, BAD. With the sharpening though, along the curve watch out, it "bit" me. Compas is okay, just don't like it, it's too bulky. Stone is great, used it on other knifes all nice and sharp now. It isn't really ful tang, but it will do most jobs. Handle is a little rough, but it can work, I'm going to see about sanding down the finger spaceing, it can possibley break a knuckle or two if it doesn't hit an object right.

Knife came razor sharp. Did some cutting with it and the blade doesn't even have a scratch. Sheath is sturdy, but I would have preferred an actual leg strap as opposed to the lanyard style one that it comes with. Compass is great and the whet stone is nice. Both have their own individual pockets. Great knife for a great price.

Very nice knife love it, but i'm kind of confused about how the leg straps work, overall very impressed good job trueswords!
