Here Are Some Creative Uses for Ninja Throwing Stars

By Adelia Ladson

We all know that throwing stars were an important weapon in a ninja's arsenal but I believe that their value is totally underestimated, as I have found a variety of uses for them apart from taking down a bad guy. You won't believe how handy these little jewels really are. The possibilities are almost endless but here are a few of my favorites.

The smaller diameter stars like the Master Ninja Dozen Throwing Stars come in a variety pack of beautiful, decorative shapes, which are just perfect for the holiday season. Each star has a conveniently placed hole that can be used with hangers for your Christmas tree. You will be the envy of your block with your ninja-themed tree beautifully lit and displayed in your front window. Also, think about having an old-fashioned popcorn garland stringing party but add a little something extra to your garland like these ninja throwing stars. Your guests will go home with a beautiful and lethal holiday decoration for their home.

But you don't have to stop with your holiday decorations. No, no, folks. You can enjoy them year-round. The Black Ronin Two Tone Throwing Star makes an elegant coaster that your guests will admire. Nothing says class like four, super sharp blades to rest your drink on. You can also string a few of the smaller stars together, at varying lengths, to make a wind-chime for your porch or mount a few of them on bamboo skewers to put strategically throughout your garden. Not only will they be decorative additions to your little plot of Heaven, but they will also keep those pesky rabbits out of your vegetables.

And speaking of vegetables; is your kitchen chopper blade getting a little dull? Look no further for a replacement. Just pull out one of your throwing stars drop it in and you'll be slicing and dicing in no time at all. They work well in blenders, too. Your morning smoothie will never be the same. They are pretty handy, too, for cutting out pasta dough when you're making your own ravioli or when filleting a nice piece of salmon. Your friends will be totally impressed with your master chef skills. Using these secret weapons, you will become the ultimate kitchen ninja.
