I received this knife yesterday, and so here's my review. I've been dealing with knives of all types and qualities for awhileand to be honest, i expected a little better from a company like SOG. However, it isn't a bad knife.

First, the knife. It should be noted that the steel used, 8CR13MoV, is a somewhat lower quality, Chinese stainless steel that is often used in many knives that SOG, and other companies manufacture.

Anyway, the blade is thinner than i expected, and is thin enough to where prying anything is out of the question, but it would also do a better job at stabbing or slicing due to its low profile. Though, because of that, it also lacks a solid, sturdy feel. The handle however is well-designed. It's good for holding the blade any way you like, left or right, reverse, upside down, whatever. The texture also provides a nice, non slip grip. The guard is rather small and almost doesn't even seem like it would do much to protect your fingers. The blade itself features two blood grooves and each side of the blade. Both the serrations and primary edges came decently sharp. Not especially sharp, but that's easily fixed with a good arkansas stone. It's a fairly decent knife.

Now, the sheath. The sheath is honestly the most disappointing thing about this package. It's made from hard-shelled nylon and features a single, velcro strap to hold the knife. The strap really kind of sucks, as it is just velcro, and seems almost too short. The sheath doesn't seem to fully house the knife as it is suppose to, and the belt loop is molded in a fashion where it just gets in the way of the blade. It's pretty obnoxious. It also features a velcro pouch for something like a honing stone or a small survival kit or something. There is also a small hole at the bottom of the sheath for tying shoe string through for another tie down option. The knife definitely outperforms the sheath.

Not a bad knife, but not the best either. I'd give this package 6.5 out of 10. Worth the money though.

Very nice, and for the price definetly worth it. It has a longer handle then I expected, but I'm not complaining. Fits in the hand really well. Came pretty sharp as well. The sheath is nice too, and has a pouch for a sharpening stone if you want to put one in there. Recommend it highly

Very nice. Any knife that has made me bleed is an awesome blade. Haha (Accident, mind you!)

Impressive. It's a real army fight knife. Very dangerful.

It's only a little bit expensive, but it's absolutely unbeatable
