*This is the review you want to read* This book reminded me of my first week of karate, the entire book explains basic strikes, stances, and footwork. If you are looking for more advanced information then buy this manual instead http://www.trueswords.com/military-manual-hand-hand-combat-p-5799.html Which reviews pressure points, joint locks, and good stuff.
i would give it 2 1/2 stars. The information was good. Sadly, the illustrations had bad quality. it was very difficult to understand how to properly execute a technique, but if you are good at reading directions it's a great beginners guide
Not as good as the military manual hand to hand combat book, but still it shows how to move postions
it is what it is. just karate. but a good book. plain and simple
This might not be a "sword" blade, but this spike on this Honshu sword cane is incredibly sharp and I would hate to be on the business end of it. I tested it on 1/2" particle board and it penetrated with hardly any effort. Not to mention it just looks awesome!
