What else would you expect for $3. The stand is plastic, the 'blade' dulled, and the hilt's design is just a crude sticker. However, it works well enough as a letter opener.
Well this is a bargain for $2.99, no doubt about it. A little sword with sheath, and a stand to hold it. The sword itself is cute, and it's pretty well put together nothing was wobbly or loose. The stand holds the sheath securely so you can draw the blade straight from there. I only have two complaints, neither of which should really deter you: The blade was dull, and I mean it couldn't open a letter at all. Put it on the stone and gave it a decent edge to cut open envelopes with, now it's fine. And the plastic bit that goes into the base of the stand had some burs that just needed to be trimmed off, took about thirty seconds. All in all this is a great deal, do wish they shipped them with a slight edge but I'm sure that would only cause restrictions.
This little katana is awesome. It comes with so much for 3 dollars. And it even seems to be full tang. Very worth the small amount it costs.
perfect letter opener. sticks a little in the sheath but over perfect! reminds me of my full size swords! yet another great product! thanks soo much trueswords! :)
A great display piece and a nice impulse buy to add onto your big orders.
Great love it and looks awesome
Never has a $3 letter opener been so fun! I'll make this short and simple:Pros:fun to play witha great conversation piececheapCons:unsharpened, but can be sharpened easilyOtherwise, it's pretty awesome! Yes, it's made of cheap steel and has a cheap saya. But you can't expect 1065 steel and a hard leather sheath from a $3 deal like this, so cut this little guy some slack!
Doesn't fit super well in the stand, but the sword itself is nice, and on amazon it's $10 not $3.
Fun peice.. Never had a letter opener before, so for a couple bucks extra with my main order, this was just a fun thing to do.........And if I don't like the bill...OFF with its head!!! Not worth more than I gave for it..but am satisfied for the price.
This little guy is awesome. I was thinking it would be 2-3 inches, I got it because I had a $3 discount, and its only $3...and im glad i did. Its around 4-5 inches, and its pretty sharp, and the blade looks great. Although the handle and sheath are plastic, there is wood on the sheath. Its a cool decoration for just $3, or in my case, for free
