The product is exactly what it looks like, kind hard for it to stay in position on a shoe though
sharp and durable onlything i dont like is the lace style but owell i can deal with it
eh. could do way better. they couldnt have at least made the spikes full tang? i mean the spikes are not fully down into any one of the holes and easily fall out. they should make the spikes part of the initial slab of metal. they might be good to mess around with, but to go farther than that? yea.... no.
these foot spikes are very sharp easy to use, but unfortunatly for people with wide feet the can't work correctly, also one of my spikes were lose and got ripped out on the first tree i climbed but other than that very nice product for $8
A different pair of laces is a must, as without a decent fit these will do next to nothing. Other than that, the metal is tough and the spikes are plenty pointy. Combined with the hand spikes and some practice, tree climbing becomes considerably easier.
buy some paracord either before or with these...the laces are just cheap shoe laces...the spikes are welded to a 3/4 inch plate so its very strong and durable
Good addition to the hand spikes, especially for 8
I bought these with the hand claws, and theyre great! i feel like i can climb anything. just 2 things; if you are running through a field its great for digging in and u can run slightly faster. And second, dont run on your mom's lawn (or anyone else's) cuz it tears it up like crazy! 5/5!
They are great if you know how to use them... but they are very hard to get on tight. You will need a strong pair of shoelaces of your own i suggest bootlaces. They will come loose as soon as you step on a hard surface such as concrete brick pavement hardwood floor ect. They are good for climbing trees or wooden buildings but thats about it.
Nice and sturdy build. Wish it came with four spikes, but its only one spike set for each foot. Sharp points
