Marine Force Recon Night Stalker Bowie Knife

i am 14 years old and already preparing for the worst. i have 15 knives 1 throwing knife and 4 throwing stars. i already have 1 bowie survival knife with the match/fishing/needle and thread kit with an 8 inch blade. i also have a sword and this knife would be great to add to my collection

Wow this knife is not what I was expecting. I don't know if the very tip is supposed to be pointy but that doesn't really matter to me. This knife is everything I was expecting and more, meaning you can cut through just about anything you would normally cut. This knife is big and fits the hand very well. I just hope that the next Marine Force Recon knife is another bowie cause I'm buying.

This bowie is awesome. I got this bowie with my good friend who is in basic training and going for marine recon. The bowie its self is really good it was bigger then I thought it would be and it is pretty sharp as well. It looks cool to. The small saw on the tip of the blade goes through a box with ease. The handle is perfect for the size of my hand not to small and not to big. The over all weight is not to bad. The sheath is good it seems a little to big for the knife but its good quality stuff. I highly recommend buying this bowie it is well worth the $20 i payed for it. It seems like it would be a good camping knife or even if u just want it for collection.

This knife is all i expected and more! It is now one of my favorite knives and I have used it for building a cabin in the woods and stuff as easy as cutting strings off of my pants, shoes etc. This knife also holds it sharpness and is also sharp right out of the box... the sawback and serrated design along with the straight blade all combines to help with anything you could ask for... great for hunting camping or any outdoor use! All this together is why i give it 5 stars... i love this knife and i would recommend it to anyone beginner or experienced...

Great knife, sharp, good weight, amazing grip. The only problem I have is the sheath, but it's not so big of a deal.

This is one of the best knives i have owned. Cut my finger right out of the box. Amazing quality

First off, like my last order, it arrived exactly one week later, and was sharp right out of the box. I knew this would be a big knife, just didn't expect the size of it when I saw it first hand. Also, it was surprisingly light, and the handle grips well even when wet. Only thing I have a problem with is the sheath. Nylon is an okay material for a knife sheath, but it would've been better to use a leather sheath, which I intend to buy in the near future. A great knife at a price that might as well be a steal.

This knife is big. I love it. I would recommend it. I been collecting for 28 years both high end and low end knives. This is my new favorite knife. I love the feel of it in my hand. A word of caution, the handle is bulky. It could use a little sharper edge but other than that, I am pretty happy with it. I will have to test it out on my next camping trip!=0)

This is defiantly a five star knife. the knife came very sharp, but still could use a swipe through the sharpeners. it's also a lot bigger than i expected. it's very light, balanced, and is defiantly up to marine corps standards, Semper Fi!

I just got this knife today, Its the first bowie Ive ever purchased and this thing is a beauty, Been doing a lot of testing since I got it and its durable, sharp out the box, an even when wet the handle keeps your hands from slipping, my only complaint would be that it wobbles slightly side to side if you jerk it, I would suggest this bowie to anyone. At the price its a great buy

When I first got this bowie I was fascinated at the size of the blade. It was huge! The handle fit my hand perfectly and the blade was razor sharp. The only bad thing was it had CHINA on the bottom of the blade. Other than that it is a great knife.

This is the longest bowie knife I own currently and I've had some fun with it out in the yard. It's length makes it usable as a machete since it's front heavy, and it chopped through some sumac saplings (which are a nuisance where I live) and brush with no problem. The top most serrations seem to be only for looks since their useless unless sharpened with a grinder, but the smaller serrations on the clip point are just as useful as any other. The handle, though comfortable, is somewhat wobbly and bulky. Also the sheath is as cheap as they come, and I have no idea where to buy a new one for this beast. Through and through this is a great bowie to have fun with, but I wouldn't put your life in it's hands. I was hoping to give it five stars since I'm a big fan of United Cutlery, but this is not one of their best.

Great knife. good build, love the handle texture. The only thing that bothered me which is barely an issue is that "Nightstalkers don't quit" is not force recon, it is 101st helicopter divisions motto.

This knife is awesome its huge and light but there are 2 problems. First for right handed people be ware the sheath is meant for left handed people so i put my knife in backwards. Second the blade is coated so it can ware off but only if its rubbed. just chopping wont do it. Other wise it comes sharp and is amazing. OOORAH Marines

Its a pretty good knife for the price but it is misleading to say that Marine force recon uses it, especially since Night Stalkers is the nickname for the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment who are army helicopter pilots who fly for special ops (I'm sure they work with Force recon though)
