only real problem with my sword was the spikes on the cage. had to file them down, got cut 6 times,but they weren't deep. spikes are sharper than the blade. Mine also came with a bunch a finger prints and smudges on the blade, not a big probles, wold've happened sooner or later, cleaned it with windex and the prints came right off(criminals... don't get any ideas)
