I just now received this sword today.
I have to say this is one heck of a blade...
thin, light weight, pretty strong metal, very very beautiful look.
It's also quiet sharp too, I can easily cut through plastics, cardboard, plants; harder wood-like objects are a little risky to use it on though.
The pins on the handle aren't really fastened into it, but are pretty secure if used properly, and I can easily keep anything from falling apart on this sword. The carbon steel full tang blade helps allot on that.
Mugen's sword turned out great! I love Samurai Champloo and I love this sword!
