Self Defense
According to FBI Uniform Crime Reporting statistics, a violent crime occurs somewhere in the United States every 22.1 seconds. True Swords supports your right to defend yourself against potential attackers. We carry a wide selection of Self Defense items to accommodate different situations.

batonPolice have been using Batons for hundreds of years, and now you can own one too. We offer manually extending batons in 16', 21", and 26" lengths, or a 20" automatic baton that opens with the touch of a button. All of our collapsible batons come with sheathes, allowing you to attach them to your belt and prepare for all situations. When you are not carrying the baton, they are ideal for placement in easy-to-reach close quarters, such as a nightstand or drawer.

defense stickJust as effective as a baton, is the Cold Steel Smasher. At both the 29" and 34" lengths, these bats are highly durable, made specifically for self defense. Unlike conventional baseball bats, these are made from nonporous material, designed to withstand the elements. They are the perfect length to store alongside your seat.

defense sprayFor our customers that want concealed defense, but do not want to carry a weapon such as a baton, we have multiple types of Pepper Spray. There are smaller pocket sprays, which can be carried in your pocket or purse, attached to your key chain, arm, or leg, or even disguised as a pen. Similar to batons, pepper spray can be used as effective control too. Our Sabre pepper fogger has a range of 25 feet, with a heat of 2,000,000 scoville units; capable of subduing a violent attacker. Last on our list of pepper sprays, and certainly not least, is our Bear Attack Deterrent. This spray is no joke; if you are an avid hiker, camper, or outdoorsman, you should consider carrying a can with you. Strong enough to fend off a bear, this spray will also defend you against bobcats, wolves, and rabid animals.

lock pick Along with batons, Handcuffs have been the choice of police officers for decades. We have double locking leg cuffs, double locking handcuffs, and even SWAT Issue hinge handcuffs, for further wrist movement restraint. Although all of our handcuffs come with keys, we recommend carrying an extreme quality swivel handcuff key. Heat treated for strength and machined for a universal fit, this key is virtually indestructible, and attaches to your keychain. We also have high quality handcuff holders for both the regular, and SWAT Issue handcuffs. Handcuffs are not the only thing you will find yourself needing to unlock, which is why we have multiple types of Lock Picks. We have the same Slim Jim that many car garages use to unlock car doors, as well as lock pick sets ranging from Easy to Professional. Do not be intimidated by the art of lock picking, we sell the complete guide.

club protectionThe last method of self defense, and undoubtedly the most intimidating, is our 21" Spiked Barbarian Club. It is made of solid hardwood, with over 20 piercing metal spikes. Pick this club up by it's sculpted handle, and you will send intruders fleeing in terror. This is not a decorative replica, this fully functional barbarian club is the real thing.

Lol, spiked barbarian club = self defense? I'll carry that one around in my pocket, so if someone tries to mug me I'll whip it out and hit them and say my catch phrase: "SELF DEFENDED!".

Interesting observation that the most crime-riddled states are the ones on the restricted shipping list. So much for self defense...
