Similar to how spring assist knives function but without the spring, a blade flipper designed by Blackie Collins rockets open the 3 3/4 in. blade with lightning speed.

A liner lock keeps the anodized AUS-6 stainless steel blade securely open while in use and the 6061 aluminum handle is laser etched with a demon skull and wings design. The sleek aluminum construction is so lightweight that it is not even noticeable in your pocket. A stainless steel pocket clip will ensure the knife stays firmly in your pocket or pack. 4 1/2 in. closed.

This knife features a single edged blade with double edged look. The back (spine) of the blade has a faux edge.

How are Spring Assist different from a Gravity Knife or Switchblade Knife?

Gravity or Switch Blade knives feature a button, level, or other type of switch that releases a spring pressure to automatically open the blade. On a Spring Assist knife, there is no separate button or switch. Instead, you apply pressure to part of the blade to begin the opening process. This is usually a small bump of metal which sticks out under the knife, making it fast and comfortable to use. Once you press on that part of the blade, it automatically opens and locks into place. Since the action of opening the knife is started by pressing the blade metal, instead of a button or switch, it is considered to bypass the laws which ban Switch Blade knives.

This knife is sick, Its amazing when you stab anything with it, its quite sharp too! I also love how quick the blade draws with the spring assist. It was totally worth the 13$ I spent on it, I never let this knife leave my sight now. :)
