Eh blade not sharp, not a sharp point. Have to unscrew to get to, not a quick easy way to get to if the time comes. Handle is loose, but it does stop the rain and make me feel comfortable carrying if need be
The umbrella part is a bit small when open. However I was very pleased with this product. An hour or two of sharpening and its perfect.
Basically just a prop. The blade is not sharp, umbrella looks like it will disintegrate upon getting wet, and the tip is not sturdy. I cannot recommend this as anything other than a mantle piece.
The blade is smaller than the picture led me to believe and very dull. Otherwise, the umbrella looks and works well and seems very sturdy. The blade can be easily sharpened and the tip is solid.
When shipped the handle was broke off. I had to super glue it back on, hopefully it stays. The double edge blade is not sharp. The umbrella and walking tip is nice.
Nice looking, could hardly believe the umbrella held a sword of such a fine edge, nice and sturdy, a great buy.
Overall i'm fairly happy with this product, and it is a fully functional umbrella and to that purpose seems to be fairly well madehowever i have a few annoyances with the rest of itfirstly the screw out method of retrieving the blade is noisy, cumbersome, slow, and in a real self defense situation would be practically uselessyou boast that we could use the tip as a weapon as well, however the core of the umbrella feels very light and fragile and i'm afraid that the plastic (i had been expecting metal) will splinter should much force be appliedand thirdly, in the illustrations you misrepresent the size of the blade as being far longer than it is...I had been expecting a blade almost the full length of the umbrella, however the blade is only about half that (if that much) and not very sharp
overall, this was worth every penny but i have a few criticism:the sword was smaller than expected and did not come very sharp.also the mechanism for pulling out the sword is to unscrew it, which would be a little tough in a real situation of self defense that needs quick acting.but its still cool and i will probably sharpen it and try to modify the way to pull out the blade
really sharp (stabbing) actually functional as an umbrella. like the noise that it makes when you remove it from the "sheath" but the handle came unglued when opening the umbrella!
