Awesome weapon...good grip...but having trouble using the pen

First of all, I want to make note that this is NOT a turn pen. It is a cap pen. The LED light IS very much useful. It is great to keep around a handy flashlight, weapon, plus a pen when needed. This is a good self defense pen to have but as of discreet concealment... well the big sharp point sticking out at all times is kind of intimidating. Like I said, it is a cap pen so that mean the head can be removed. The LED light is built on the head cap so, don't loose it. The body itself contains the ball point pen on one end and the sharp point on the other.

The picture will prove my explanation. The main picture in the middle is how the pen looks like when the ball pen is closed and capped. The bottom right shows the LED flashlight which is built in the tip of the cap. The top left pic shows the pen in use without the cap. Great news is that the ink can be replaced with almost any regular ink cartridge that is in any other pen. My personal opinion which I will say is the bad news is that without the cap in place while trying to write, you are faced with one end of a pen that is writing and the other, a sharp point facing toward your -my- face. I'm afraid that while I might be writing something, someone could bash my face against it. Talk about not safe...

My only other real concern is that the join that holds the ink cartridge seems to come a bit loose once in a while. Then again that could just be a defect on MY particular pen that I got so, no worries really. Other than that, it's actually a nice pen.
