Just received my board. When I took it out of the box, I saw that it was starting to come apart, yet was still excited to use it. I hung it up, and threw a knife at it, and the board basically fell apart. The whole middle of the board unravelled on the spot and fell to the ground (the middle only, the rest of the board was still on the wall). I'm really sad to write a bad review because all the rest of the items I have received to date have been top notch quality. To all those looking to buy the board, be sure to use the cardboard box taped to the back of the board to hold it together. Altogether, this is the only negative thing about my experience on this site.

This is a $12 roll of loosely wound garbage. It is *not* a board! It is literally a roll of 1/4" thick paper and was falling apart as soon as I opened the box. The metal hook couldn't hold it's own weight for longer than about 10 seconds before breaking off the flimsy metal ring "keeping" the roll of paper together. The dragon symbol core literally fell out of the target when I hit it with a throwing star. For a couple bucks more I got spray adhesive, a cork board roll and a pine round from home depot that takes repeated throws from my heaviest knives.

I was actually rather disappointed in the target board itself. It's very thin....I threw a couple of knives and stars for about 5 mins and I though it was going to fall apart... Awhile ago, True Swords had a target board very similar but it was 4x the thickness and had two different target displays on each side. With that being said, the board isn't worth the cost. This is the first time I had to write a bad review. I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed and I think you could much better elsewhere.

At least for me it was a very durable board.

No complaints whatsoever. Came in perfect shape and works great with small throwing knives and the stars that i bought. My son and I will get hours and hours out of use from this target. For $12, definitely money well spent!

The board came to me slightly beat up. However I plan on throwing Knives, throwing stars and other sharp implements into the board so It doesn't particularly matter to me.

Ok this thing is awesome. its a great game to play with your friends(especially when your drinking). just get a good amount of decent little throwing knifes(the boot knife on this web site is perfect) and you have hours of entertainment and practice. its really good to help with your precision throwing.

Very nice for the price easy to hang. I suggest you only use throwing stars or darts if you use a knife it kinda f**ks it up a bit there are two designs on mine on eather side of the board i like the one on the picture beter than the ninja one but all in all it was a pretty good buy.

Pretty sturdy, knifes stick fairly clean. Easy to mount.

I've got mixed feelings about this target board. First off, just so you all know, this board has two different designs on it. The one in the picture is on one side. The other side has shuriken-shapes with point values on each, along with two ninjas, also with point values. I personally think this side looks really cheesy because it also has the word "NINJA" on it a couple times. The side shown in the picture looks much better. It even looks nice...until you actually use it.

I took this and set it up on a fairly large tree outside in my yard, and me and my brother took a lot of throws at it with the SOG throwing knives that I bought for this (which are awesome, by the way), and the damage it takes really shows just how bad this target board is. My knives stuck in it really well. But the construction of the board itself is extremely poor. It is made of a soft wood, but it's not entirely solid. It seems to be laminated. I found this out when I was using it because a perfectly circular section started coming out of it, centered at the center of the board. Think of it like a slice of onion. When you push on one of the inner rings, it comes out. Well, that's what started happening with mine. Also, the thin metal band holding it together on the rim is very weak. Already, this thing looks like it's about to fall apart.

Given, it is pretty cheap, so I couldn't expect much, but it's not worth the money. For once, I'm not satisfied with something I bought from True Swords. Sorry, but I've gotta give this a 2 out of 5.
