This kunai set is one of the best sets I have owned so far. The weight is great, it's durable to withstand even CONCRETE, the detail is superb, and overall not disappointing at all! These knives are great for throwing, and I would definitely recommend this!

This is the fifth set I've purchased, and haven't been disappointed yet. Just some really great craftsmanship. Probably get more in the near future.

The knives themselves are very balanced the balance point is about an inch over the edge of the string rapped handle. Which brings me to the handle wrap, it is pretty fragile but if you've had experience with throwers the wrap can last you a couple of months. The tip on the knives is pretty wicked and they have a crazy sharp edge. The down side is that the blade can mushroom easily but can be fixed easily with a belt sander. They throw nicely but the ring takes some skill but once you are used to it u can do a variety of throws. The sheath is a great design but is crappy material. Overall it's pretty sweet!!!,

These are very large heavy knives that throw well. The point is very fine so they may break the handles are also thin. I how that they last a long time. One nice thing is the belt sheath can be worn equally well on the right and left side.

I have been throwing knives for years and have many types and styles of all ranges of price and quality. These stack up against some of my higher end blades very well. For the price hard to go wrong. They fly nice and are holding up very well. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good thrower at a reasonable price.

These are the Best feeling and throwing Knives I have, and I have a lot. // Right out of the package today ( 9/10/2014 ) first throw, ONE tumble throw at 25 feet, right into the Target. I'm just an average or slightly better than average thrower, these are a must have for a new beginner, or an advanced thrower also. // I didn't buy them to SHAVE with, I got them to THROW, and they are very sharp on the tip. Once you get these, you will most likely order more soon, and park your other knives except for your 14" throwers. -------rp

So what's not to love. It's a good auger/chopper/scrapper and you won't hurt anything by using the hilt as a hammer. It's a good combat dagger that would not look out of place stuck into the belt of a Greek hoplite or medieval man at arms or Celtic warrior. As a thrower it has the drawback that its handle is anything but ergonomic. So you'll have to get creative with your grips and releases. The upshot is that has a long learning curve and probibly isn't a beginner's weapon. But who cares! They look good and throw good. I have suffered no losses from breakage in well over 10k throws. I plan to hurl them another 10k.

these knives are truly great. the cord comes off after just a few uses. the blades themselves are wonderful. they are made out of a sting piece of metal and the tips dont break or bend. blades are also razor sharp i wouldn't recommend throwing form blade. the sheath is kinda cheap and leg strap will break but other than that they are living up to the expectation.

I purchased two sets one for myself and one for my son Matthew. The knives were used as soon as they arrived. They performed excellently. The balance and rotation of the knives were accurate. They were extremely sharp, razor sharp to be exact. The knives were so sharp they could shave hair on my arm. Matthew has not thrown many knives yet with instruction could repeatedly hit a 2 foot target that was 27 feet away. The knives were very impressive for their weight and the size (12"). The price was worth it for the set. Matthew also liked that they were the same as those in the movie Expendables.

I'm a huge fan of Jason Statham and The Expendables movies so I had to by these. After reading some of the reviews and seeing them in my hand I'm not sure if I even want to throw them. These blades are 12" in Ol so that makes them pretty bad defense weapon. Mine came very shrap as well.

I bought a set about two years ago, and they immediately became my favorite knives. And they still are. They made of some good steel, and will last a long time. It was only last weekend though (after many hours of throwing), that the tip of one of the knives broke off. And the wrapping around the handles started unwinding after a couple weeks or so after I received them. I could have maybe super glued the wrapping so it wouldn't come off, but I took it off myself. They are well-balanced, and come razor-sharp. I'm about to order another set so I can double my blades!

Theses knives are not for beginners, it might be difficult to throw from the handle at first but you will get used to it pretty fast. these things are SHARP! i cut myself twice just by gliding them of my finger on accident. if you know what you are doing they throw easily and stick nicely. they make a cool sound when thrown because of the ring on the bottom. i would reccomend these to any good thrower. the tips might bend a little but its easy to fix

Over all very nice. Throw extremley well. Only down side is they are thin so they do bend. But u can bend back into shape. Large but light weight for there size. Very satisfied overall. Good job true swords.

All i can say is that these knives are super sharp and stick into a surface such as wood very well! The only problem with these knives is that the grip (rope on handle) comes off very easily! That is mainly the only problem though. Great product!

I got these knives a couple weeks ago and was impressed with the durability of the knives the reason I didn't give it five stars is because the blade on one knife was cut to short and uneven But the other two were perfect. The paint is suprizingly scratch resistant. Overall great knife for the price , I would recommend these to anyone

Came straight out of the box fairly sharp with only a few rough edges that got taken care of with a file. Handle wrap is unfortunately very flimsy and would definitely benefit being set to the handle with some form of adhesive. The weight is extremely hefty and very well balanced. Once the rotation is second nature, these knives will nail a target with ease. There's enough weight behind it to sink it in quite well without having to hurl it. Traditional knife throwers who are accustomed to throwing from the handle might find these a bit tricky but those with a bit more experience should have no trouble finding their grip and release.

Probably the best weight to balance ratio of any of my throwers. I mostly throw Hibbens and Bokers. And have both an indoor and outdoor throwing ranges, my indoor range is 25 feet and I use slightly aged pine log slices (5 inch thick and kept a little moist). Christmas evening I was up till 2am enjoying my new knives. Awesome! Pros:Excellent Balance and weight. Best starter distances I found were at 12 and 20feet (easy rotation). Cons: Soft metal, tips may tend to Get Bent, recommend using softer targets. I also usually throw in tight groups and found that the knives are so sharp and the metal a little soft that I took out a nice 1/4 inch chunk out of the blade LOL. I always keep a bastard file and diamond sharpener in my throwing kit anyway. I also personally prefer throwers with not quite so sharp a tip, but these ARE fun and they do throw very well. And so I do believe I will be buying at least one more set. Have Fun :)

I bought these throwers mainly because of the movie and their size. These are my first throwers in the 12" size. They throw pretty good except that I personally feel that the hoop on the end gets in the way for a smooth release. My biggest complaint is that the tips were so thin that they broke easily. I broke the tips on 2 of the 3 after less than a month. I have since quit throwing them. I am an experienced thrower and do not abuse my knives. I know I got what I paid for but I have bought other knives in this price range from this site that held up much better.

This is my second set of throwing knives. When I got them, they were a lot bigger than I expected! The leg sheath works great, and it's a good thing it's adjustable because i'm a larger person. The circular ring on the handles are unique and make it easy to draw the knives from the sheath, however, the weight of the handle out-weighs the blade! -This is to say that when thrown, as gravity starts to take effect, the handle is most often what strikes the target/ground rather than the blade! Now obviously, no one wants to get struck by a piece of metal flying through the air, it's just that the whole concept is that you want the blade to hit your target, not the handle! I have tried different throwing techniques with these knives just to make sure the end-result did in-fact turn out the same... All in all, it's a decent product but I would not buy these knives as your first set of throwers! Thanks _Adam
