this blade did not come as sharp as I had hoped however the point was very prominent and for the small size of the blade it actually makes sense that the cutting edge didn't come that sharp. you can put a decent edge on it but it is not intended for slashing. its is well balanced and is a bit heavier than I expected. my complaint with this product is that while the sheath fit perfectly behind my back on my belt i felt like the handle was sticking out a bit and giving it away that I had a hidden knife back there.

This blade is a $9 last ditch defensive knife, for what it is I believe it would perform to what it is required to do. for that I give it a 4 out of 5.

Got my knife yesterday and I am well pleased :D though it was smaller then I expected, and the blade was dull. But when I sharpened it up, it was a very good utility knife. Well balanced and super strong, it is also a great throwing spike. Even my folks like it :P

Happy with blade, but not the sheath. Will not fit any belt I own (horizontally like in the picture)

Eh, wasn't expensive so it's not a big deal. Just wish I could use it how it was made to be used.

I just got it today which took about a week shipping time. I must say like it! This "dagger" but more like a knife is pretty concealable. It fits nicely on my belt and I positioned it just like how the picture shows. Like the other reviews, this does make a good throwing knife because it has some weight to it but it is balanced real well from tip to butt. My only concern was that the tip of the blade that I got was a BIT dull, but still lethal enough to be very harmful and I like it none the less. I carry around with me regularly now. Oh and I forgot to say that I is very comfortable to have. It doe not hurt my butt or waist in any way. There were moments when I actually forgot I had it with me because I couldn't feel any discomfort LOL.

Excellent blade! Strong, sharp, and surprisingly weighty for such a small weapon. Feels great when wielded, and the balance makes for an superb throwing knife if need be.

The elastic back straps on the sheath are a bit small, and I have trouble stretching it to fit wider belts (will probably replace with new elastic). Nonetheless, the tanto is perfectly concealed beneath a shirt, fits snugly, doesn't restrict movement and can be drawn easily.

One note: If you're thinking about purchasing, carefully consider this product's measurements. I'm 5'6" and the handle is just barely big enough to fit comfortably. Larger enthusiasts might want a longer weapon, unless you intend to use it as a thrower.

Overall: 5/5. Extremely pleased with this product. The sheath design is pretty nifty, and overall this is a well-made piece.
