    Loving this knife.

TrueSwords: Excellent service they provide, all the time! I'll never doubt them and never will.

Ka-Bar: It's a great combat knife, and that's what it is meant for, combat. You see people on YouTube prying, batoning and chopping with this knife, sure, it is able to do that, but it's not meant for that. Meant for combat. The knife's handle is made from stacked leather (leather). The Steel is 1095 Cro-Van, Cro-van (to my knowledge, not an expert) is chromium and vanadium, meaning when you see something like 1095 Cro-Van, basically means it has more chromium and vanadium into it, which will help with corrosion resistance (Big plus since this is a carbon steel), and increases strength and toughness (Also a big plus, being that this is a fighting knife).

I'm no expert, but to what I know, this is a really good knife.

    amazing!
Ka-bar never fails to impress with this classic knife!
this knife comes so sharp that it slices with such ease.
the sheath is made out of sturdy leather.
the black coating is on there so well you can cut so much and it will not rub off.
the handle is also made out of such strong wood that it doesn't seem it won't be rotting or cracking at all. i also love the packet that comes with it that tells you how to care for your knife properly.

Holy Balls. When this thing arrived It was a lot bigger then i expected it to be. The box size gives away the magnitude of what you're about to experience. When you pick up this metal titan, you feel the weight, and with it you feel the power of this, like no other, piece. The handle is wooden, and the blade is, unlike on the picture, black not silver. Comes fully, and deadly sharp, ready for your most dangerous and demanding missions.

okay so im officially afraid of this knife. i have used it for several weeks, and not just used it, but savegely abused this knife. and the blade is still rediculacely sharp. I also own a vintage cutco hunting knife and this rivals it in every way accept for the handle (which on this ka-bar, the leather tends to pinch your hand when you stab, but im sure this will wear off as the leather breaks in.) and you can tell this is a fighting knife, intended to remove flesh from the body and stab indot the internal organs, the balance is near perfect ( just a few millemeters twoards the pommel from the guard) and it stabs like a bat out of hell.
    Pros: quite sharp
    well balanced
EXTREMELY HARD STEEL (this is also a con)

Cons: Steel so hard its a real pain to sharpen
leather handle tends to pinch the hands when stabbing.
    false edge is not sharp.

Worth EVERY penny, thanks true swords!
