The Kopis machete is based on an ancient short sword design that was admired by the Greeks, Romans, and Spaniards. Similar to the geometry of kukri knives, the blade is weighted forward for increased cutting and chopping ability.

This 2nd generation version of the Kopis machete features an improved blade shape and a partial D-ring guard for added hand protection.

Includes Cordura sheath with blade loop.

Overall, Great Sword, The Blade Still Had Metal All Over The Edge When I Got It, ,Like It Hadnt Been Deburred At All, But A Few Run Overs With The Accusharp Fixed That, It Still Feels Like The Edge Is Unevenly Ground, But Its Great Overall, Blade Feels Kinda Flimsy, Like It Hasnt Been Tempered But Most Machetes Are Like That So I Guess Thats To Be Expected.

This thing is an absolute BEAST of a machete, for 30$ this was definitely well worth it. Strait out of the box i was able to cut through 4 inch thick branches with just a swing or two, the handle is nice and i recommend using both hands while swinging, because the extra space in between your fingers and the little hand guard feels awkward. (maybe its just me)

Either way, this thing is well worth the cash.

Sleek design. Very sharp blade. Has a nice weight to it and makes it effortless to cut through brush. Sheath also has a belt strap. Surpassed my expectations.

This has got to be the best brush cutting utensils I've ever bought from anywhere, it even out shines the Banshee sword in cutting power and ease of use, not to mention much less expensive. You only have to use a fraction of the power behind it because of how to blade is tilted forward. the sheath is even rather nice the only problem I see with this machete is that it is time consuming to put into the sheath, but the sheer performance of this blade outweighs any negativity. the thickness of the blade is perfect as well, its not floppy so it's easy to sharpen but its thin enough to be light. With my line of work it is imperative that I have a decent machete, and believe I just found one of the best.

The handle is a little thick. But the blade is great. Definitely made for battle.
