Straight razor styleStainless steel constructionDepiction of Azrael, Angel of Death on handleMeasures: 4 1/2" blade; 10" overall
Take hold of Death"s own razor! The classic straight razor gets a chilling twist with this piece. This razor stretches 10 1/2 in. overall and features one-piece stainless steel construction with a 4 3/4 in. blade, 3 1/6 in. edge. The handle offers an etched image of Azrael, the Angel of Death.History of the Straight Razor Blade:The straight edge razor has long been seen as an icon of its era. It was a time when real men could shave without aloe vera strips, scented shaving lotion, and vibrating handles. Shaving wasn't a chore; it was a ritual, using an heirloom blade that had been passed from your grandfather to your father, and some day on to your own son. The rigid structure of a straight blade provides so much control and accuracy, many barber shops still use them today. Although the straight edge razor may seem a thing of the past, it has been making a comeback lately, after being shown in movies and plays such as Sweeney Todd. The intimidating appearance of the straight blade, often used as a weapon in movies and theater, is due to it's evolution into what is now known as a switchblade knife. Our straight blades are perfect for any situation from self defense to the best shaving experience of your life. With the proper care, this blade will last forever.

Wasn't shape at all it took a lot of work butt looks nice.just work on makeing it sharp. Like ALOT sharper.
Its really awezome looking better than I thought it would be. But its not that sharp and you can't shave with it.
This razor is great for display only. The blade is not sharp enough to shave with. The handle is a relay good eye catcher to show off to your friends. Over all well worth the price
Knife is solid and Sharp a little hard to open at first just had to open and close mine a few times and its good first buy from the site and came a day earlier than expected ill be back BudK
Very nice handle, pattern is actually etched in. blade is very sharp, larger than I would have expected. Only down side is the blade holds inside the handle just by wedging in there and nothing to hold it open. But all in all a great display
I agree with all the other reviews. I got this for my husband to shave with. it is not sharp enough to do that. The quality is good. For him it makes a really good letter opener.
This was bigger and heavier than I expected. It was definitely sharp enough to cut arm and leg hair, but not my face stubble. Good quality, highly recommend.
Didn't come sharp enough to shave with, which was disappointing, but with a bit of working it could be a very nice straight razor. Try again with the sharpening methods True Swords, but other than that, awesome!
I bought this knife along with a friend because was so cheap. It is a sturdy knife but it's definitely not sharp enough to shave with so if you're thinking of shaving right out of the box then make sure you buy a belt to sharpen it with it needs some work before it can really be used.
I had bought one for me and for a buddy of mine and we were both very pleased with it although like said in previous comments not sharp enough to shave with but it can be remedied. all around good quality. I was pleased.
