This star was a ton of fun to throw. But broke on the FOURTH throw!

Purchase if only for decorative purposes. Dull blades, cheaply manufactured; will fall apart with minimal use.

This star is really nice and all, but it should probably be fore display and its huge. over all it is great!

The Throwing star is Cool looking no matter how you see it. Sadly, the star broke in 30 minutes of me throwing. The blade broke right off.

This was actually larger than what I expected...The blades came sharp, but can be made sharper if you want to. The blades do lock out, the locking mechanism used is a simple lever that comes up when the blade is fully extended, and to close it you push down, and turn the blade. Not sure how some people manage to cut themselfs, but...

In all, I think this was a good buy for me. I got it for the looks, along with for possibly light-throwing as I dont want to risk damaging the blade locks. I would recommend this easily to a friend. The total diameter of this, with all blades down, is 4.5" for anyone wanting to estimate the size.

got it in three days and love it a bit on the dull side but that can be easily fixed recommended for something to awww your friends and family with

I got the Silver one too. Its very sharp, and a lot of fun to throw around. Mine is Stuck in a wall right now....So don't throw it. Great Item!!!
