Great Combo

I got these as part of a sword surprise package. I had been looking at them for awhile. I have some swords with the cord wrapped handles. The wooden ones are nice. They fit me fine. Blades are sharp. I can draw either one out of the sheathe with no problem. Great for show. Going into my BOB. Can use this for survival/defense.

Great Combo

Great product

I got these blades today and right when I opened them, they were sharp and ready to use. I think this is a really really good product and I hope that budk can make a video for it. I love these swords!

Great product

Decent Buy

Over all they were an AMAZING buy. The blades are sturdy and feel good. But the handle hurts your hands because of the metal going past the wood. Not big on the sheath but hey it keeps them together and that's all that should matter. Over all these swords are an awesome buy for the money. And remember they are NOT toys.

Decent Buy

sword set

Nice display set, not for practical use the smaller one sharpens and holds an edge easily but the large one will not sharpen or hold an edge at all.

my first impression of the swords were great, the are not very sharp but the blades are very thick, they feel great in your hand, great buy

The blades are dull but thick. The size difference of the blades is more than i thought it would be. The swords are not what i expected, but i still like them.

Broke in half

This is a nice set well balanced and looks pretty sweet but i used it only a couple times and the larger of the 2 broke in half. if i had got more than 2 day's out of this set i would have gave it a 5 out of 5 (my fault to should not practice with steel that is not tempered)

Eh....

The first thing i thought was ' why does the wood grip not completely cover the lower part of the steel?' The fact that the metal sticks out beyond the grip gives this sword set a feeling of imbalance, and makes it difficult to maneuver with. I guess it'll decapitate zombies in a pinch (once I get em sharpened), but I wouldn't recommend these to people with small or sensitive hands. My advice: get a good pair of thin, grippy gloves.

Eh....

I ordered this product a while ago but just recently realised that I never reviewed it. Anyways, I bought it as a gift for my brother and he seems very satisfied with it. The blades are very well made and I see no signs of fading on the black tints. The finish on the hardwood handles is a beautiful tint and looks incredible with the blades color. Overall, well worth the price. One of the snaps came off on the sheath but thats not that big of an issue. Definetely a must buy.

This is probably one of the best deals on this website! The full tang is clearly visible, as you can see the steel from the blade running through the hardwood handle. It juts out a little bit from the wood, making for a knife-like effect. I would say it would take some serious force to damage these swords. When I first took it out of the box, the small buckle that holds the smaller sword in the sheath almost immediately broke off, but I'm not worried about that at all. Another great feature is the weight of the swords. All together in the sheath, I would say that everything weighs no more than 3-4 pounds! The edges are not terribly sharp but the tip of the blade is. That, however can easily be fixed. GREAT BUY!

Wow. i've never gotten a full tang blade before, but i can tell you i will very VERY soon. When i first took a look at the box they specifically came in, i was thinking to myself that they may be a little small. but then i took them out. I was blinded by the dark and powerful beauty of these blades, i first took the big one out of the sheath, and no it wasn't bent at all, so i have no idea what the others are saying, i could instantly see the silver edge of the blade, and the craftsmanship of the handle, i took out the second one, when i held them, one in each hand, i felt i was ready to take anything. i called my friend over to show him (and gloat a little), there is a creek behind my house so we took them out and just cut down some branches, so smoothly. I don't know why these aren't under the ninja equipment section because i don't even feel them on my back. the only bad thing about them is when you hit something hard enough the metal part in front of the handle goes into your hands a little bit, nothing a callus won't fix though!

i without a doubt give these a 500/5 but them now!!!!!

These swords weren't quite what I expected, but there still prity cool. They look awesume but they weren't very sharp, and its kind of hard to slide them into the sheeth when its on your back. the longer one was bent when I got it, but still a good product for the price.

These swords are amazing! I have just recieved my blades, and I am very satisfied with thier condition upon arrival, and the all over quality of the blade itself. The handles are a beautiful mahogony red, deeper in color than in the advertisement, but just as lovely. Even before they were sharpened, they were able to give me a small cut on my finger after I tested the sharpness. On whole, they were a bit smaller than I thought they would be, but that makes it easier to wield them. I do have one issue, though, not with the blade itself. It is very difficult to take the blades out of the sheath whilst it is on your back. That isn't much of a hinderance, however. Again, I am impressed with the durability and overall quality of the swords, and will most definatly purchase more of them from this site in the future.

These swords are sweet. the stylized wooden grips are really easy to work with, and the blades are pretty sturdy. my only complaint was that the bigger one was bent when i got it, so i had to fix it. overall, a great buy.
