it was a toss up between a couple axes on this website but i think i made the right decision! its the perfect length and weight to carry on a hike or keep in a bug out bag. i have not field tested its sturdiness yet (OTHER axes are known to have the glue wear off or the axe head to slide off of the fiber glass handle...guess ill find it out)...my favorite feature is definitely the pick! i wanted an axe with a flat back so i could hammer as well..but with the pick i feel like i could take on frickin bear haha!!
very thick and sturdy, it sticks every time! I will always have faith in this wepon!
For 24 dollars you won't find a better made axe, this thing will last through two apocalypses. The resin fill (the red) at the top does not look like the axe head is coming off anytime soon. The grip is incredibly nice, wet or dry; the edge did need a little sharpening but out of the box it was plenty sharp. The spike does not come to a single point, but rather is about 1/8" wide across, which in my opinion means it will last a lot longer and can double as a crude crowbar if needed. This demolition series Trueswords offers more than holds up its name.
