  • Stainless steel blade
  • Black finish with fake blood spatter
  • Imitation ray skin handle
  • Cord wrap accents
  • Coordinating scabbard

For those seeking samurai swords with characteristics only found after a battle to the death, the search is over!

Both the blade and scabbard come splattered and soaked with imitation blood. Designed with cosplay in mind, the scabbard is carved to resemble a blade with blood groove, making it suitable for battle reenactments at conventions which may not allow drawing of the steel blade.

The carbon steel blade with black and blood finish is handsomely accented by the hardwood handle with black ray skin and deep red wrapping. The scabbard is also carved from hardwood, finished with high gloss paint. Steel guard and fittings throughout. 26 1/2 in. blade, 40 in. overall.

I was extremely psyched to be getting this katana but when it arrived I was more than disappointed. When I first unsheathed it it was COVERED in wax which actually made it difficult to put back in and take out again. Not to mention left a VISIBLE unattractive residue on the blade. The most disappointing thing, though, was the blade itself, namely the paint job. It was awful, to be honest. Very lackluster. :(

This would make a nice double set...As for the edge? If you can't polish up an edge on a factory sword then you probably shouldn't be buying them. a factory edge is as it states, a factory edge, Razor sharp and battle ready are advertising terms. Buyers should beware of that. Everything I buy comes out of the box and gets inspected for defects, then sharpened to my satisfaction, then polished... To each his own, but I have bought quite a few quality blades from trueswords & fully intend to continue my purchasing. Customer service is great & new items are added frequently enough for me... Great job trueswords.

It is a very good sword I but not that sharp.

It would've been better if it was sharpened.

When i got this sword i thought it would be strong but it bent after i hit 4 thick branches. Then the top metal part came off one day when i was swinging it for a lil while. I also that the paint should have looked a lil cooler.

There are only 2 words that can describe this sword... Simply Amazing!!! This sword for its price is amazing. The way that it is made is perfect, the balance of it is perfect, the guard is beautiful. The only things that I can say that this sword lacks is the way that the hilt was wrapped, it has already started to come off and I only swung it a couple of times. Another thing that lacks is the blood on the sword. Obviously it is spray paint there was no effort put into it. It was horribly done. Doesn't even look like blood.

Other than that the sword is amazing expect for those two cons.

It is a bit hard to take out of its holder. I liked that it is really light weight. The paint is awesome looking and i could not believe that it only cost 20$.

awesome in the picture it seems like the blood staining sticks out and there would be annoying lumps all over the blade but, it is completely smooth GREAT BUY

Just got this sword in today, and it's quite nice. The blade and sheath have a good blood design on it, and the red wrapping really grabs your attention. Drawing the sword can be a little difficult at first, though. It seems like a tight fit. And there's some sort of residue on the blade every time I draw it, but it can easily be brushed off. Overall, a good buy, I'm glad I bought it.
