  • Stainless steel blade
  • Black finish with fake blood spatter
  • Imitation ray skin handle
  • Cord wrap accents
  • Coordinating scabbard

For those seeking samurai swords with characteristics only found after a battle to the death, the search is over!

Both the blade and scabbard come splattered and soaked with imitation blood. Designed with cosplay in mind, the scabbard is carved to resemble a blade with blood groove, making it suitable for battle reenactments at conventions which may not allow drawing of the steel blade.

The carbon steel blade with black and blood finish is handsomely accented by the hardwood handle with black ray skin and deep red wrapping. The scabbard is also carved from hardwood, finished with high gloss paint. Steel guard and fittings throughout. 26 1/2 in. blade, 40 in. overall.

Best sword in my collection Reviewed by on Sep 02, 2017   5 out of 5

The sword is realy well made and looks amazing. Nothing loose on it at all. Wasnt that sharp cause the paint coating on it covers the edge but thats easy to sharpen back to perfection but even with the paint coating on the blade, its still sharp but not razor sharp. I would recomend this 100% to anyone who is interested.

As a collector of different types of swords, this is one of my favorites at this time. The white with the imitation blood spatter makes it a conversation piece while hanging on my wall in my Man Cave. Great price. thanks BUDK!

The blade was heavy and really nice, the handle was very nice to hold and use, i used it for a few months to cut through undrbrush before the blade hit a thick patc and completely bent ruining it

It's a very nice sword and scabbard Reviewed by Coale Shifflett on Jul 25, 2015   5 out of 5

I really did like the look of the sword, even a little longer than I expected, the only thing I have to say is this sword IS NOT SHARP. It's very much a decorative piece and a very good one. Again if you're looking for a sharp sword out of the box this is not the one for you.

More than the price Reviewed by Joseph Martinez on Jan 31, 2015   5 out of 5

When I got this katana, I was a little worried due to the fact that there were no reviews and that it was only $20. However, when I got it, it came in good packaging. It came really early too. Once I pulled the katana out of its scabbarb, I noticed that there was white specs on the blade. I assumed that this was just dried paint. It turned out to be that wax rubbing of the blade when inserting and pulling out the katana from its scabbarb. It still looked wicked awesome. I felt the edge and point of the blade and it was already sharp. I took it and a banana and apple out back to test its durability and sharpness. It easy cut through both many times. And the blade stayed completely intact, no wobbling at all after. The paint job is also amazing. I love the design so much. And the fact that it is only $20 is amazing. This is something that I'd definitely buy again. 5 Stars, two thumbs up

Ordered on the 11th and received on the 15th, but that doesn't really bother me. I mean, I did order this blade on a weekend, after all. I was just excited to get something that would be unique to my still growing collection of different swords, plus the blood details are a nice bonus.

I will admit that I was a little worried regarding the quality of the sword from some of the reviews I had read after making my purchase (quite the idiotic move on my part, since reviews should usually be read first).

I had read that the blood on the saya (sheath/scabbard, whichever word you prefer) is more pink than red, which is a valid complaint and did happen to mine, but it's tolerable. It still looks like blood, which is fine by me. Then I read that white... whatever stuff it is... sticks to the blade when you draw it out, which I'm guessing is due to whatever oil may have been put on the blade. Sure enough, it happened to mine, but I'm sure it'll stop after a while. I also read that the blade falls out of the saya relatively easily, which is, again, a valid concern. Thankfully, mine stays in the saya relatively well, though I'm not going to hold it upside-down or anything. There was also supposedly an issue with the cloth grip slipping around the handle, which thankfully isn't an issue mine has.

Then there was one review notifying that some of the blood flakes off when the blade is sharpened. I can't say this is a surprising development. It's paint. Seriously. It's going to come off if you sharpen the blade. The grip supposedly also has a tendency to splinter if used to cut things like full milk jugs, which, again, isn't surprising. It's a show piece as far as I can tell, not something to swing around and expect to cut everything to ribbons.

All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase. I couldn't care less that the blade wasn't sharpened before being shipped (which, for whatever reason, seems to be something people consider important enough to point out and consider a bad thing), and will most likely make other purchases from this website further down the line. I might buy this blade with the black saya just to have both versions of it.

just got thissword today, out of the box i was impressed! i love the blood stain on the saya and on the blade. i did find out that you get what you pay for, just a few swings and the handle broke almost in half, so i have to fix it with wood glue. i knew it wouldnt be invensible cause of only paying $20 for it, but i just wish it would have been made with better wood for the handle. other than that good buy.

Btw, I'm 43 and didn't buy this to swing around and chop stuff up.
Bought for the visual aspect.
I like it, although I hung it up minus scabbard because it was just too shiney and *fake* looking to me.
Can't beat it for the price.
