    sting knife

I ordered this knife sometime ago and it is great, well built, heavier than you think, feels good in the hand. Arrives razor sharp. The sheath is very good as well. If you buy it you wont be sorry. Editor's Note: Thank you for your comments. We have updated the review to reflect the appropriate spelling.

This is a great little knife for the price. I have been wanting a knife like this for many years. I have had a fiberglass filled, "letter opener" knife of this style since high school. The only gripes I have are blade symmetry, grind, sharpness, and the powder coating. The powder coat is even , but it comes off too easily. The blade symmetry is off a bit. While it does not detract from the function of the blade, it is noticeable. The edges taper back in a way that I've only seen on VERY cheap knives. The edge has no defined end, it just widens as it nears the back. Finally, the blade wasn't very sharp out of the box. I still really like the knife, but I was expecting more from CRKT.
