Not for use

If your some 10 year old who watches the walking dead and wants a katana to shread stuff dont buy this and just for the record most stainless steel blades are for show, anyway i got this sword and it cuts very poorly and the "powerful" stainless steel blade bent after one swing on a coka cola bottle so basically the tsuba for this is a more practical weapon than the sword itself

Get what you pay for

When you spend 20 to 30 dollars on a sword you should already know it is not functional or battle ready. You all that are complaining about a very nice 30 dollar sword need to buy a crowbar for your wallet and spend the money on a real sword, instead of whining about a decorative piece...

imperial warrior katana

I am more on the collecting rather than the using. That being said, this sword is a beautiful and remarkable item. A most impressive work and admirable by anyone's standards.I'm very pleased with this purchase. It is well made real materials what could be better at such a deal.

Ok for the money

Ok sword for 30 bucks cant be sharpened the plastic inside the sheath rubs the blade and causes it to scratch and the oil continues to hurt the blade even more. both of mine came with horribly scratched blades right out the box and unsharpened blades even though it was advertised at the time as a battle ready sword.

decent

bought this blade from here back when it came in orange debating on getting another one just to mess up, sharpened mine a bit with wet stones and actually holds up to small tress, water jugs, and yes watermellon without bending. This particually blade is a little front heavy but at this price that is to be expected, love the harmon on the blade and the hand and saya design is a plus.
