I just received farmer folding knife. The blade does not fit strongly in the open position. When I tap the end, the blade will unseat. For me it is a safety issue for using the knife for skinning or rough duty. It is fine for peeling apples or slicing cheese on a picnic. There is also a bit of wiggle between the blade and the handle when the knife is open. I bought the now-discontinued orange handle version a year ago for my son and it is great. I expected better from this knife.
These knives are top of the line, they are the best deal on here! I will be buying more knives, Kennesaw
will be buying again its not a lock blade but is a well made perfect work knife . you CANNOT beat for 7 bucks. comes razor sharp I also got engraved for my teenage brother weel made and STURDY knife
Not a bad knife a little larger than i expected. Feels almost to large for my hand. A little awkward in feel. However for the price you really cant pass it up. cant think of many other knives that were of that quality for that price. not an overall bad buy just a little awkwardly designed.
Excellent knife for pocket carry very sharp and just the right size.
Over the past three years, I've purchased five or six of these knives to include the sod buster jr.The knife is durable and tough. The blade holds an edge for basic, hard work. The last one I bought broke while simply in storage and was never used, but I account that to a faulty make, a fluke. All of the others have held up well. A great value for the price.
The Black Angus Farmer is a good knife. All the elements line up properly. It's a good size, fairly large, but small enough to carry. The blade is nice and tight. Smaller brass pins and liner metal feel a little rough in spots, but 5 stars at this price.
This is a great looking old style sod buster knife, has a 440 stainless steel blade that stays sharp. If you look it has large brass pins for a sturdy handle. I love the old style knives like this one. For under 7 dollars you want go wrong
