Quality display sword

Nicely built display sword with a lot of attention paid to the details. One of the jewels of my collection.

Great display piece!

Don't mistake this for a battle ready sword, however, as a display piece it's quite nice. At this price I expected much less so I'm pleasantly surprised. Blade is sharp. While it only has a rat tail tang and is simply glued together, it feels sturdy. Real wooden scabbard and metal tsuba (guard), fuchi (collar) and menuki (end cap) finished off with a nicely wrapped handle.

Last Samari Katana

Well, I just got this sword in to give to my grandson who just got his black belt in Karate. This Katana is beautiful and perfect with no defects. Heck, I just reordered one for myself to display.

Wow horrible quality!! Don't buy this! If you want a sword, save a little more money and buy the $59.99 Last Samurai Sword, because everything about THIS sword sucks, and I mean everything! The more expensive Last Samurai sword is wayy better.

Very great set, the sword is not very sharp at all and the Japanese lettering on the sword was giving off ink, but a couple wipes with a dry cloth should do fine. All together a great show sword and stand for the price.

my only problem with it was that it was bent about a mm at the end where the handle meets the sheat its hard to notice and on the side where its dosent have the black writing it says made in china wich i was hoping wouldnt be out in the open like that

I've had this sword now for a few hours and for it's price, it's a steal. My only complaints are the gooey substance they put on it for travel purposes keep clinging to the blade every time I sheath it and unsheath it, resulting in me having to clean the blade again. The blade is also rather dull. Since mine is more for decoration and collecting, this isn't a huge deal to me. But be warned that you won't be able to cut much with it unless you decide to sharpen it.

Overall, a terrific buy. I couldn't be happier with my first sword EVER and I will defiately be buying from here again.

an awesome sword. for 30 bucks it is an exelent buy . WARNING. even though the blade is not sharpend it could do massive dammage to someones stomach and/or face. especialy the tip (i can barely touch something with the tip and still scrach or dammage it) 6 out of 5 overall

5/5 the sword is great. it feels very nice to swing, but it is just decoration so dont try cutting sticks or anything. the point is semi-sharp, so it will pierce 57 pages of the yellow book. Great buy. Loved the last samurai, and this sword its just really great.

Great Display sword. It looks great :) It's got a beautiful stand and sheath with engravings. The hand guard is very nice too. Not to mention the excellent price.

Don't expect to be cutting anything though, its just for show. Mine had an edge on it but not sharp. The tip is very pointy though. The blade is bent to the left about a half an inch and the sheath had a small chip in it (fixed it though). Just minor imperfections that I noticed, nothing that affects what it is meant to be. It feels good to walk around with it in the house and wield it.

If you are looking for something to light up a room in your house this will do the trick.
It is an awesome display piece and I love it. It fits right in with my room, this is my first sword from TS.
It's a pleasure to do business with TrueSwords and I have already ordered my next one from here!

A very nice sword. if you are looking for a display piece that will look good, but isn't something that is very sharp so your sibllings or kids can't stab themselves, than this sword will suit you very well. the details on both the blade and the sheath are very well done. an excellent display piece, just don't go hit a tree with it or anything stupid
