These knives are great. They came sharp right out of the box. At a BOGO DEAL, these are a steal! The only down fall is the sheath the knives came in. It is poor quality and it fell apart after only a few uses. If the sheath were better, I'd give this a 5 out of5.
I am a former member of the 10thSFG, and I have thrown a lot of knifes in my day. I call these things the stingers. I throw a wide variety of knifes, and these are the smallest I have. They get the most attention, and I have given more away then I wanted. Its nice to see that people are taking up this sport and really love this knifes. Kudos, Bravo and soldier on!! How about a better deal, a bundle package would be nice. :) Thanks
The ham test measures penetration into a ham covered with a moving pad to simulate several layers of clothing. These little flyers did well, penetrating 2 to 3 inches into the target ham. (Which then became my dinner.) They're cheap, they're nothing fancy. They get the job done. They conceal easily. What more do you want from a shuriken?
I bought these knives as my first throwing knives, and they worked great but after a while the tips bent then eventually broke. I thought it was just the wood I was using as the target was too hard but then I bought another set of different throwing knives and they didn't damage at all while I used the same piece of wood.
One of the throwers I got is superb. Very sharp, it can pierce and even slash if needed. But only one of them. The other two are totally dull and even thick at the tip, as if someone forgot to finish grinding them. Have to say poor quality, buying these is a gamble.
I recently decided to get into throwing knives after my buddy pulled a set out while taking a break from work. I bought these because he recommended them. after my 1st session I was able to land bullseyes 2/5 times. of course these are not profetional throwing knives, and I ain't no bruce lee. but they're very fun! easily concealed in the very flat nylon sheath, I take these 3 everywhere now. they are atrting to get bent a little faster then I hoped but I really can't hold that agiast them. it's the sheath that's taking the most wear and tear.
i have had these knives for about 4 months and only the very tip of the blade has bent but no breaks so far. i have been practicing my throwing skills with these and i have to say i'm impressed. they will definitely be added to my survival kits and a set kept on me at all times.
I had these throwing knives for two days and one already snapped, but it still sticks really good.
Good throwing knives, especially for begginers. Light and easy to handle.
I have had these knives for about a year and a half and they have held up well. The tips are a little bent but that would be expected after dropping them a several dozen times. I am a beginner and it only took me a few minutes to kinda get the hang of it with them.
