Stood up well to what I threw at it, until when I was throwing it and it severed from where the blade run through met the handle. I was surprised by this since they said it was a virtually indestructible handle.
I like the way they are balanced. they cut great. I can't wait to set up a target to throw them at ;)
NOT as indestructible as it seems. After two sessions of throwing the hatchet the handles snapped about half an inch past the lowest screw. Other than that seems like awesome hatchet, cant reccommend using it for throwing though.
I was very pleased with my M48 axe/tomahawk. It is very light weight, but the weight distribution is forward in the head, so its excellently designed for cutting.
