The Mtech Ballistic is USA Designed (Yes It is American). The Cosmetic design stands alone from the rest. They spared No Lack of Imagination to Create This flawless Knife. The Curves & Contours are made for a futuristic Look. The Two-Tone Black & Gold Motif. Says. Look at me. Like King Midas. Evening He Touched Turns in Gold. With This Glittering. Blade , everything it touches it will Cut. The Gold Plated Blade Had A Straight edge & also is partially Serrated. Which means. There's Plenty of Cutting Power. The Serrated part saves The Straigh edge from having to be sharpen often. They Complement each other. It Features a Glass Breaker & also has a built it Bottle Opener. Most Domestic Beers have a twist-Off- Cap. We Have Gotten Lazy. But if you Drink Imported Beer here's your chance to pull out this Beauty and Show it Off !. I like the blade shape, and length. Feels solid in the hand. The gold finish is nice looking without being too flashy. Blade has to be deployed to use bottle opener. It's my new favorite Carry knife.

I love this knife. I carry this one for formal occasions. This knife looks sophisticated and smart. I always get compliments when I need to use it. This knife feels study and put together well. I have used it many times and have had no problems. I only use it for light duty things like opening boxes, cutting string, etc. I have gotten my monies worth and some out of this knife. I am purchasing the blue one and hope to be just as impressed with it as I am with this one. Thank you BudK for providing affordable well put together knives for those of us who can't afford, or don't want to spend, a small fortune on a knife.

Bought 2 so far, planning to buy more for gifts. Beautiful, very fast opening knife. Have paid much more elsewhere for less quality knives. Or - for us beer drinkers - the coolest bottle opener ever (that just happens to be attached to a knife :)

ABSOLUTLY beautiful knife, im always getting complamented on it.. But it does not come as sharp as you would think it is.. It can cut through a thing but wont pass the paper test in 1 swing... So all in all amazing knife just sharpen it your self when you get it!

Well, I've got 2 of these for myself, one I've used constantly as my go to & a Gerber, the other in case I loose or the first wears out! I've bought several for gifts! One super cool/sharp blade! As the one man present a case below after 1000 of opens it started to fall apart/ not working properly, not with me & I probably have well over double that, maybe do to the fact it is a good recommendation to tighten all the casing screws & a small drop of machine oil every so often! Screws do become a tad loose after repeat use as most, then problems! But for the bucks, one of the best I've found to date around & will light your buddies up as gift-ha! Pros: Looks great. Fits well in the hand. Fast open with flipper. Mine came very sharp. Cons: Small scratch on back (pocket clip) side of blade. Hardly noticeable. I plan to buy another for Father's Day.

It's not usually in my habits to write reviews the same day I receive the product, but this far exceeded my expectations. it's decently sharp right out of the box - might go over it with a sharpener once or twice, just to be safe - and the mechanism feels sturdy and secure, and the point feels like it could sink into just about anything. I'm no pixie, being 6'4-ish, and but this knife feels just right in my hand, not too small or too thin. This was the first thing I ordered from the site, and it is far from just pretty to look at.

I give this knife a 5 star. One of the best looking knives I own. The assisted opening device works great. I've opened it hundreds of times, smooth every time. It keeps a good edge, and makes a great gift.I've bought ten of them and had no trouble. Just a great product

Every review before this has been a five star review, with good reason. The knife really is sharp looking and striking. It's got a nice heft and for the most part feels very solid. Unfortunately, there's a simple truth to folding, lockback knives; over time and wear, they fail. And as we all know, the more complex the device, the more likely something is to go wrong. So I gave this Mtech folder a torture test and, it wasn't long before what appeared to be a great little assisted opener showed its' weak point. Over a time period of roughly a month and a half, opening to and closing the blade from lockout less than 1000 times (maybe even less than half that...didn't keep track); first the locking mechanism became sticky and hard to push aside to close again. Then the assisted opening device failed completely. In summary, a great looking knife that has reliability issues. All these five star reviews are correct; it's very cool and looks great. But a knife you can't rely on is an impractical object and there's no room in my toolbox for impractical objects.

I bought two of these to begin with because they looked so good and were on sale. I didn't believe that they would so greatly surpass my expectations; but, they did. Now, with the 25% off sale, I've decided to buy 4 or 5 more to give as gifts to family and friends. This has become my number one knife when I look for a pocket knife. Not only is it a wonderfully crafted knife but it is also quite beautiful to look at.

Really good knife, needed a little sharpening but other than that it feels like a steal for 14.99 i'd be pretty much repeating what the other reviewers are saying but it just feels like a solid quality knife. Great conversational piece, great functionality. GET ONE NOW!!!! add the guitar solo
