Frontier Professional's water filter provides all the benefits of a larger bottle filter in a compact size. The straw style filter attaches directly to water bottles or bladders and attached cap keeps mouthpiece clean. The flexible "Integrated Strap Grip" secures cap to filter when not in use and allows for easy cap removal. The bite valve can also be removed to use as hanging drip filter.

Replacement pre-filters lengthen filter life. Filters up to 50 gallons. Miraguard Antimicrobial Technology suppresses the growth of bacteria, algae, fungus, mold and mildew within the filter media. Miraguard does not protect users against food borne or disease causing bacteria, viruses, germs or other disease causing organisms.

Antimicrobial, removes Giardia, Cryptosporidium and E. Coli.

A bit a research is all that is needed for the previous bad review: https://www.mcnett.com/aquamira/tactical-frontier-pro-filter#44160 (direct link to manufacturer). 50 gal Prefilters are replaceable. Main filter is not (like most of these devices). Great for hunting, camping, or your bug-out bag! We used them for our personal survival school kits.

It would be really nice to know how much water it purifies, in general, as so many of these products actually print in the descriptions. It would also be nice to know where replacement filters/pre-filters can be bought as well. Without knowing these simply little facts I'll keep passing up products which may just be EXACTLY what I'm looking for! Come on Bud-K!

Great little item for a backpacker or camper or anyone who likes to be prepared for anything... Filters water from almost anything you can think of... You can use it as a straw, drip, or even a faucet filter...
