I use this most of the time at my work since I work in a cold environment and want protection. The mask is machine washable and safe so it wouldn't be ruined there. It does wonders to protect my face and was cheap and smart buy. Mine is two years old now and still as strong as when I first got it.
Honestly at first I wasn't all to impressed with this thing, but after messing around with it for a couple of minutes and figuring out different ways to wear it I eventually became okay with it. I mean it does what the description says it does so I cant really complain to much, but honestly $10 for a piece of cloth isn't really wroth it. Your better off just getting an old t-shirt and cutting a piece off and making your own multi-purpose facemask, and guess what its FREE!
