Russian Military Surplus Gas Mask SCHM-41M With Hose

This mask is amazing, people at school are terrified when I crawl at them with it on and that is exactly what I wanted it for

I bought this mask a while ago and i really like it, the bag can sometimes be small but you usually figure out how to pack it, also the mask may be a bit of a pain to get on, i suggest not to wear this with long hair because it can be hard to put on and remove. Overall this is a great mask, it doesn't fog up if worn properly and it actually works against smells. (i haven't tested it with smoke, but i have tested it by going into a bathroom after someone had pooped)

GREAT!!! came in near perfect condition! other than some sticky sand like at the beach which was weird. i will not use filter just in case, but fits and seals well...visibility great, and hose in perfect condition! 5 stars!!!

Though the filter on this gas mask contains lots of asbestos, this is a fairly decent mask for the price. But don't be worried, you can only breath in the asbestos if you try to take apart the filter. Other than that it's a great product.

the only thing i not happy with is the orange liquid i had the thing completely dissembled and clean and put back together work great

I am extremely satisfied with this gas mask. It looks awesome, is very cheap for the product, and looks to still be functional in an emergency. Definitely a great buy!

One-size-fits-most (not gonna work on kids, sorry), easy assembly and disassembly, looks really cool. I use mine at work when using high temp grill cleaner, but I imagine it will do just fine for freaking out your friends and family outings at the local Taco Bell. Hope you have a buzz cut, though, because anything past 1 cm is gonna hurt when you take it back off.

I got four of these for kicks when they went on sale - they came in two days - super fast, as I live in the sticks... The rubber needs to be washed, as it's dusty and has rubbery bits on it, and the canisters are a bit dented here and there. The bag they come with is pretty darn cool in itself. After washing everything, you have a functional gasmask that may even work (?) but looks cool as all get-out. Instant Halloween costume, or strap it on & wake up your wife at 2am if you need a divorce. I'm not really sure what I'll do with them, but even those with limited imaginations will think of several uses. (The bag has a buttoned pocket on the side - the button has tiny Cyrillic / Russian lettering around it - so cool). At the very least, suit up the whole family and walk around Wal-Mart for a while just to exercise your free speech and see what'll happen ...

Great mask !!!! I ordered it because I wanted an old Gas Mask for Halloween. It looked cool and was an amazingly low price. It is even cooler looking in person. The other thing that is really cool, is that it is a piece of history that is still functional "just in case"

I bought this as a cool halloween costume for a haunted house that I was doing with my friends. I ordered it exactly 7 days before halloween, but it was expected to take up to two days to be shipped, and seven days to be shipped after that. It arrived on halloween just in time, over 2 days ahead of schedule! It fit very well and looked amazing! I couldn't believe that it was in that good shape for a gas mask from the 60's or 70's. If you are a collector, reanactor, or just want a really cool costume, then you need to buy this right now!!!! P.S.-$12.98 is a steal for the value!

I bought this for a Halloween costume. When it came it was covered in a lot of weird dust and rubber debris, and weird orange dried liquid stains covered the inside of my breathing tube. I spent about an hour washing it out but it was fine! Completely breathable (make sure you take the caps off the filter), and can be worn for a long time with no headaches or other discomforts. I'm a guy with a big head and I was scared of the "one size fits all" thing, but it stretched over my head just fine! I have medium length hair and there was no tug or pull when putting it on or taking it off. My only gripe is the "bag" that it comes with. In reality it's more of an apron with a kangaroo pouch, which is still fine by me, but the problem was it was covered in burn marks and absolutely reeked! Since it has so many metal pieces I wasn't sure if I could wash it safely so I tried hand-washing it. I cleaned it for some time and the smell wouldn't come out. I ended up not using it so my hose/filter were just waggling freely in the air. All in all, it's a really cool purchase, especially considering it's great price! If you're on the fence about it, just buy it! It's comfortable, scary, and a really good collector's item.

Just received this item today. Very fast shipping!! Its too small for me to wear it and the glass lenses are all scratched up.
