21 Inch Impact Baton

For 25 Years I Was a Police officer in NY, and at one point we were trained and issued these batons, extends in one pass, locks in place, when used on a attackers upper body and legs, will put that person down, thus allowing you to over come or get away from that attacker. it can be carried in a purse or on your belt with the holster for the baton, good heavy construction. Not A Toy

This baton is really nice. It has some good weight to it, enough weight to ruin somebodies day if they try and ruin mine. I like the rubber on the handle, it keeps it from slipping. Overall a great buy. Thanks Trueswords!

The baton locks in place with a quick swing and 21" seems to be a controllable length and weight. The extended steel shaft should be effective in most cases depending on how well the owner applies it, and it would be difficult for the aggressor to grab the shaft and pull the baton away because of the slick finish. The fact that the shaft doesn't collapse easily is a plus.

its sturdy and amazing! its easy to colapse just thrust it into the ground and it will go in. i hit myself in the hip sorta hardish... and it hurt really really really bad so i trust it and its just great!

What i like about this baton is that it has a firm sturdy feel to it. And the rubber on the handle feels great and doesnt slip or tear like other cheap batons when its in action. The rating is high because if i need it its there on my side ready in just one flick of the wrist. Bam! and then its over.

Awesome item, needs to be broke in a little to collapse easily but once it is it wont disappoint you at all.

whoa. its nearly perfect.the tip is hard and dont screw off like other batons ive seen lol i hit myself accidentaly in the head and trust me it hurts a lot. its a bit hard to close but the bright side is that it wont close when u most need it. <br /><br />a great poduct 5 out of 5

Rubberized grip feels great and won't slip, it opens on demand fast and flawlessly with a sturdy hold, just make sure you've got a reason to open it because collapsing it again can be a trick. Unscrewing the rear end as a vent helped with closing it again, but it's nowhere near as quick and easy to close it as it is to open it. But the overall rating is high because in a pinch if you actually need it, it responds quickly. Nice sheath for mounting on belt included, great deal as a whole!

Ordered it last Sunday, got it on Friday.<br />Look solid out of the box. Working good so far, although a bit hard to close it.<br /><br />Pros: Definitely inexpensive, balance, and feel great in hand.<br />Expands with just a quick flick with the wrist.<br /><br />Cons: Bad craftsmanship on the rubber grip. No instruction on how to close the baton.<br /><br />Overall, this is what you get out of 17$. If you going to need it for your job (security, law enforcement,etc.) get a real ASP baton, they are about 70$.<br /><br />Note- to close the baton, tap (whack) the baton on a soft but solid surface (carpet floor works best) several times. <br />Once you feel the baton got loose, just close it with hands.
