Hungry Hank Bowie Knife

i bought the timber rattler bowie, and the hungry hank bowie, what a great pair of knives, everyone who sees them wants one, this is a mans knife, if you buy these knives, they are razor sharp and well built, i recomend them to anyone who is a knife collector.

First knife from Trueswords. Looks great, feels good, and is lighter than you think, but you don't pay something like this to look at it, you pay it to use it, so let's get to it.<br /><br />Before you buy this, make sure you actually measure out its length because it is large. The first gut hook is thin and pointy and the rest are thicker but they do come to a point. Out the box it comes relatively sharp, it may not be razor sharp for some but it is sharp; I tested it out the box on a tree limb I was whittling and it performed nicely even with the ackward side grip. (I was holding it sideways with my finger in the holes to whittle and it was a little uncomfortable.) Now the grip, I am 6'0 and I have to say my fingers fit comfortably but the middle two whole don't leave much room (your middle and ring are bigger than your index and pinky but all holes are same size.) The Knucks are sturdy and don't vibrate even with a hard punch. (I punch wood with it no strain or vibration.) <br /><br />All in all, it looks exactly like the photo and for $10 well worth it. As far as using it, possible but not probable. Maybe ok for hunting, just leave the latch off the holster.

Oh....My....God, these are the coolest things i have ever seen in my life! i ordered two of these babys and they kick @$$! no joke. infact, you could probably scale a building with these<br /> gut-hooks. an absolute MUST BUY!<br /><br />note- these are alot bigger than you'd expect but they're not as heavy as you would think, i'm not sure if thats good or bad :?

Just it`s appearance can settle a dispute! Feels solid and well made. Only wish handle was wood instead of plastic.

Alright knife but the knuckle guard is a mixer of plastic which is a disapointment blades great though

This knife is bad to the bone. For the price you can't find a more useful, not to mention bad looking, knife.

This is a pretty good knife and I had my eye on it for a long time. I was hoping to get the wood handle but I didn't. No big deal but that's the only reason why I can't give it a perfect score

An excellent blade, though the handle was supposed to be wood, not the plastic like I got. This knife is very substantial, not a toy in any sense. I'd definately reccomend this knife to anyone who asks me about it.<br />Fast shipping and excellent products will bring me back to TrueSwords again soon!

Sharp. Looks good. Sheath is very low quality. And handle is some type of composite or plastic. Looks amazing though.

It's a nice knife - the blade doesn't come sharp but it only took about 20 minutes to put an edge on it. A good knife in any collection.

This is a cool knife but the blade is not a very good quality and is relatively worthless other than to show off to friends

ok well this is one of my first knives from trueswords...and well not as good as i was hoping...but its not bad i also got the (pig sticker) and i must say that is a very very very good knive...but this one is ok its just the hadel is very cheap...but for 10 bucks you cant go bad.....just if u r looking 2 spend 10 bucks get the pig sticker...=P

The knife looks amazing coming out of the box but once you look at it, the wood is plastic, that was a real downer, and the ribs on the top catch the sheath all the time so it dosent slide in and out easily plus the sheath dosent fit the knife well, maybe worth the money but I would probably not but it again.

knife is almost worthless broke within hours of me getting it handle is sturdy but you can literally grab the blade and with almost no effort pull it right out of the handle

This is a really cheap knife. The handle is plastic. It is not full tang, broke the first time I used it.
