Timber Wolf Middle Ages Damascus Sword with Sheath

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. I personally don’t know a whole lot about swords myself, but he loves it and I was very satisfied with my purchase! Awesome ship time and sword was packaged with care. The Damascus steel was really beautiful. Sword is very lightweight and definitely sharp! Overall, super impressed. Would definitely order from True Swords again in the future (especially since this is just the start of his collection)!

Good grief this a wonderously buetiful blade!! What is all the complaints with the shieth? Mine is fine, no scrathes, our lose threads... and while not Full grain leather of stupendious quality, MINE is very nice looking. It will lo0ok great on my cigar and blades, wall! The Good: A Beautiful wavy Damascus Steel Blade. Never mind the description, the guard and pommel cap are also Damascus steel also, so VERY GOOD. The not so Good: The sheath is a laminate of leather over synthetic leather, for a full grain look at a cheaper price, and it would surprise me if it will last even 50 years. If that bothers you, Just hire your local shoemaker to make you a thick leather one. i It may cost you twice what you just paid for the whole sword though.

Incredible damascus blade. This IS a functional sword. Fairly sharp out of the box, but a bit of time w/ my water stones was worth the effort. Holds an edge well, slices through tatami's like butter. Sheath is okay, but fun foam filler just is not period, so I am making a new wooden one for use as a period interpreter where I volunteer. An excelent buy, our Armorer here couldn't make it for 10 X the price. Note: even the cap on the pomonal is damascus!

This sword is well made and very solid. It looks even better than the pics and it came well oiled and packaged. Just be careful when unpackaging it as it is very sharp. This was definitely worth the money!
