HAVE HAD MINE NOW FOR ALMOST 5 YEARS & HAVE DONE SOME MINOR IMPROVEMENTS. #1--FILLED THE SMALL CRACKS AROUND THE BALL WITH SOME 2-PART EPOXY. #2---SPRAYED THE BALL END WITH "KRYLON BLACK WRINKLE FINISH", TO IMPROVE THE GRIPPING SURFACE & TO COVER SOME TINY CHIPS IN THE "FAUX WOOD" FINISH. #3---INSTALLED A RUBBER TIP ON THE TIP, TO PREVENT ANY SLIPPAGE ON SMOOTH FLOORS. OVERALL IMPRESSION: A VERY HEAVY STICK THAT FEELS GREAT IN THE HAND & IS NOT "WIMPY" IN THE SLIGHTEST DEGREE !!!!--------MICHAEL S. WHITLOCK

Awesome walking stick very sturdy and solid feel. I will not have to worry about those mean dogs in the neighborhood or anyone else for that matter. I have a secure feeling while using my blackthorn walking stick i can now enjoy walking at nite like i did as a kid.Thanks true swords for a great value and fast shipping.

I purchased this Walking Stick from True Swords. I received it very fast and the stick itself is absolutely great. I use it every day and hike with it often. A definate purchase well worth your money.

The stick is nowhere near as shiny as the picture shows. But, it is about the weight you'd expect, and about the only way to destroy the thing is an open flame. a great deal.

when it first came in the mail i didn't really like it it felt flimsy and like it would break with a couple wacks. now that i have had it for a while i love the thing. it has a nice weight to it it really heavy for plastic. my only problem is that the wood colored paint on the head chips off with any real bump. overall i love this cane.

Ordered this on a tuesday, and it's now monday and I still have 2 more days to get this. I hear a lot about the fast shipping of this site, but I have yet to see that. Now on my second purchase I have yet to recieve things in a timely manner.
