History of the Straight Razor Blade:
The straight edge razor has long been seen as an icon of its era. It was a time when real men could shave without aloe vera strips, scented shaving lotion, and vibrating handles. Shaving wasn't a chore; it was a ritual, using an heirloom blade that had been passed from your grandfather to your father, and some day on to your own son. The rigid structure of a straight blade provides so much control and accuracy, many barber shops still use them today.

Although the straight edge razor may seem a thing of the past, it has been making a comeback lately, after being shown in movies and plays such as Sweeney Todd. The intimidating appearance of the straight blade, often used as a weapon in movies and theater, is due to it's evolution into what is now known as a switchblade knife.

Our straight blades are perfect for any situation from self defense to the best shaving experience of your life. With the proper care, this blade will last forever.

Damaged Reviewed by Charles Gill on Nov 15, 2015   3 out of 5

This was the first one for my collection, I a was a little disappointed when it arrived (damaged) a rivet popped out while examining it. But their is quality in it, and dull. But no problem for me. I know how to repair it. My concern was that it had a German name and stated made to highest German standards which it did look to be high quality. Closer inspection etched on the tang 'Made in China'. So here I give it 3 stars for me to repair and resharpen the blade. it still looks very good and will make a great wall hanger with the rest of my razors.

Great, great razor knife Reviewed by Joshua Davis on Nov 07, 2015   5 out of 5

First of all, I got this as knife and did not mind it wasn't shave ready. Still nicked my finger good. 2nd, I was expecting a mid sized razor but this thing has some size to it. Fits in hand great and I had planned on masking and painting the wood but even though it's not beautiful, it works ok with this. Lastly, I didn't expect different but I wouldn't emphasize "German Styling" too much and not tell their is a nice sized made in China stamp on it. Some may expect different. Overall. I have carried and played with all day and I absolutely love this razor. Go for this one for, quality, size, looks and an amazing price.
