Dark Seeker Sword

A novelty sword is a novelty sword. It broke very quickly. When it lasted it was pretty good though.

My first TrueSword blade. Light and balanced. Needs to have an additional wrap placed over the initial handle wrap but other than that its a fantastic thrusting blade. Very similar in size to a roman gladius but for less than half the price of one. I recommend this for any collection. Its a no-brainer

this sword looks awesome and feels great to swing around. it is also pretty solid and could cut through things easily if it was a bit sharper. the only thing is that the string around the handle is the only thing between your hand and the tang so it feels a bit thin. otherwise, this is awesome and i reccommend it to anybody looking for cheap great value weapons.

Once this is my Third purchase from Trueswords, it came in less than 4 days of its purchase. I am completely impressed and will continue to use this website forever! The sword is extremely sharp and pretty sharp, this thing mess up human flesh pretty badly. It is very light and comes with a high quality sheath. I love it!

Awsome sword! Truly amazing for the price! This sword comes battle ready, but isn't really that sharp. It can cut through a milk jug easy but seems incapable of actually cutting through a water bottle. It is fairly sturdy, Imean, if you hit it on something it will vibrate and wobble a little but since it is all one piece it is comepletely fine. You don't have to worry about this. It has an amazing point, and the best part, it has adjustable backstraps! The nylon cord is a problem though. It WILL come off so be sure to glue it at both ends when you get it. Epoxy glue works great. I ordered two of these and loved them right from the start. I highly recommend this sword, especially if you like lightweight and durable swords that won't easily break on you. You would have to be pretty stupid to actually break this sword.

This is my second purchase from True Swords, and I am pleased to say, my expectations have, once again, been exceeded. The sword has a nice weight. The design is fantastic. The handle and grip feel great, even with my large hands! I only have 2 minor complaints though. The edge was a bit dull, and the sword came with some sticky residue on it. BUT, those are easily fixed problems. All in all, it's a great buy.

Very nice blade and sheath, only problem was the nylon cording was coming off. A little super glue and it was fine.

i bought this sword awhile back and it is pretty good, its decently sharp and the sheath is good but be prepared to either rewrap the handle or make a new handle, the other reviews say the sheath is bad and it breaks but they say later that they made it razor sharp which will cut the sheath. good buy for the price if you want to get a sword collection started.

Very wicked looking sword, and it's got a pretty nice feel to it as well. Not too sharp but you can easily work on that. Also, some may think from the picture that the end of the backside is sharp as well, but that's just the design, you would have to really work at sharpening the tip there. The sheath is a POS, but it works for just covering the blade, not good for quick drawing or quick sheathing. For thirteen bucks this is a really nice little sword.

I bought this lovely sword shortly after ordering the 8ft bullwhip, I still have it, its sharp and cuts well, not too heavy, my only issue was the fact it had no real handle other than what seems to be a nylon material, which started to come undone, but aside from that I love it, I gotta tell ya I love trueswords to death.

Came with a crazy point! When opeining I discovered the blade was actually not that bad of a sharpness but the point was wicked sharp! Be careful on this one!<br /><br />This is is a steal for $10! It is crazy light, you'll barely notice it when you hold it. Used an AccuSharp and got the edge nice and sharp, milk jug turned to butter! Haha!<br /><br />All in all I'd say this is a great short length sword for the price!<br /><br />Thanks trueswords!!!!!!!!!

Just got this in and I am very pleased. One minor abrasion on the sword and needs to be cleaned, but other than that it is incredible especially for the price. Thank you TS on a great deal.

I dont know what everyone else is saying, but mine came hella sharp and pointy, I bought two to make a matching set, and im really pleased.<br />Even better the made in china label is a sticker so it looks cool.<br />however mine came in some really dirty oil so i had to clean that off.

Came in very nice condition. The entire piece is quite thin which makes it seem quite sleek. Has a very sharp point and the blade itself is quite sharp. Overall, a very nice buy.

Well made sword, could have been sharper. The wrapping was slightly loose so I re-wrapped it tighter, I re-sharpened the blade and other than that have had no issues. It's one of my more flimsy blades due to the cut outs, but with how light it is, it is also easily moved and fast. The idea behind short swords is not to clash anyway.

a cool sword for a first purchase... handle was a bit uncomfy but still managed to slice an apple in half when thrown in the air. nice and sharp.

Very sharp and lightweight, the cord wrapped handle came undone easily but some hot glue took care of it. The black tips on either side of the blade are noticeably shorter on each side. But its a good cheap sword nonetheless.

Good one handed sword. The handle is a little bit thin to get a good grip for a full swing. Balance is on the down side. Sharp edge. 4 of 5

this sword is pretty sharp i love it the only thing is that the yarn keeps comeing undone

Great display and sturdy. Hilt is flat making it hard to grasp.

Overall this sword is worth it. Only one small problem with it was the nylon coming off, but that didn't really bother me at all. The swords came pretty sharp (i bought two) and they felt well balanced. Worth it in the end.

Got this blade a little while ago and I was only dissapointed with one thing--the edge was very dull but the point was sharp(nothing u can't fix though right?). It is a very lightweight, well-balanced and thin shortsword with a small handle and pretty sweet design overall (basically a cross between a machete and a ninja blade). This makes it excellent for swinging around fast and accurately. Also, the nylon sheath is very nice w/straps, though they're smaller so more like belt straps than back ones, and with a button secure clip for the handle that holds the sword in place. For $13 u probably couldn't get a better short blade if you are willing to sharpen it.

The blade and steel feel good, but the handle could use either more wrapping or just a small handle- almost like a tactical knife- to feel good in your hand.

OK for the price but it is short and the blade is dull. Also, the handle is very thin and can be uncomfortable to grip.<br /><br />Mine had some paint chipped off the black finish too. I sharpened the sword with a knife sharpener for about an hour to get the blade near razor quality.

I have had my sword for two weeks now. The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the box was that the wraping was loose. Fortunately I was prepared for this thanks to earlier reviews so I took some black grip tape and put a layer over the whole handle. Next was that within minutes the tip had punched through the bottom of the scabbard. I took tries with sewing and duct tape and I even tried a dozen layers of electric tape, but they all failed against the sharpness of the tip. Finally, I took some leather and sewed two layers onto the sheath. That finally did the trick. They promised sharp, and sharp it was. All in all great for the money but if you are looking to be a ninja or even just want a conversation peice, I reccommend saving up for something better.
