Okay folks, at time of writing, these are $13 each. And they are NOT machetes! So if you run out back and start trying to clear land, you are going to be disappointed. Also, they are not full tang. The tang (grip)is a separate piece of skeletonized metal attached by 4 small spot welds to the blade. Ta-dah! Don't beat it on stuff! It WILL break. But for $13 is is a much nicer display sword than many costing more than $100. Or knock that handle off and you now have a 19 inch solid stainless steel, full tang blade for a great project knife, which is what I bought mine for.The steel is decent and takes a nice edge. So, I like mine. If you want a "real" sword, you are going to have to pay real sword prices. Or buy a machete. You will never see a real ninja cutting weeds with their sword.

Great buy for the price! Love the iron cross tsuba, though it is a lil overpowering on this blade due to the size of each considering. But it has now been claimed by my girlfriend.

This is a fantastic sword! No, one shouldn't walk right out and start chopping tree limbs because that isn't what it is designed for. The fact that the blade is hollow ground detracts from the potential of the design and makes it primarily a stabbing design but light targets such as water bottles or wet newspapers should be no problem. I used the back strap with ease and I am 6'1 195. The wrap is a weak spot but i have yet to work it loose and I do use it with full swings no problem. The tsuba is tight and I like the kanji on the blade. One must be cautious with the sheath and mine came open on the mune side but i just use that to remind me how the blade is oriented. The hollow ground design would get stuck in bone but for quick slashing and stabbing this thing can't be beat as it is a very quick and agile design.

The chopper sword is very nice when i first got it i didn't expect what i got the blade was very sharp and sturdy only 1 complaint the blade wasn't perfectly straight but for me i don't care about that plus it is barely noticeable it was great buy and i recommend to anyone.

Ok well I just got this sword today . It is really nice! I cut through tree branches like butter. It actually cuts better then my carbom steel katana . But the handle wrap is pretty bad and the sheathe falls apart real easily. So I give it a 5 but it does need work! I recommend it to anyone!

This blade can take a beating... I am very hard on my toys.. erm... swords, and this has lasted for me. Very light yet durable. Good thickness to the blade.

This sword is by far my favorite. It is a little short, but the blade is well balanced and solid. It came razor sharp, and the sheath (although cheap) works well. The iron cross tsuba looks awesome. And on top of all that, it's dirt cheap! Buy it!

HI everyone! It strikes me as strange and a bit funny that the bad reviews are because someone actually thought the name meant the sword is meant to chop things like logs. Of course its going to bend and break silly folks. The name MEANS CHOPPER like in MOTORCYCLE CHOPPER not to chop with. If you buy thins remember the price and remember it is a blade similar to a tanto in other words meant for stabbing or defense with thrusting not to chop down the tree in the back yard. Buy and axe if that's your goal folks . For the money this is a great sword. Now that its BOBO with free shipping for this special Thanksgiving time its even more affordable and you get two so if you want you could waste one chopping stuff and use the other as its intended. That might make everyone happy??? lol Happy Thanksgiving to the whole world and not just the good ole US of A!!!

This was a very nice sword! It's a nice sharp sword and a very good length . I bought it on $10 Tuesday but to my surprise only ended up paying $7. I really wish I had gotten two.

ordered several of these, came razor sharp, more than worth the price, if u dont like the handle wrap it in hockey stick tape, otherwise, it will go thru a home invader easily, if u want a sword then ante up, n if u have nothing better to do than chop soda cans then go find a job or donate ur time 2 fixin up some elderly lady's house in ur neighborhood, nuff said.

The blade was straight and unblemished, but IT IS NOT FULL TANG. The blade is tack-welded to the another piece of metal just past the Tsuba. Tack welds won't hold under stress, so if you wanna chop stuff take it to a welder and have them make it solid, or buy a more exspensive sword. I re-welded mine, made an oak handle & Saya that disguise it as a cane then had the blade professionally sharpened. IT CUTS NICELY AND HOLDS AN EDGE. Have chopped through 2x4's and straw bails. Cut a watermelon cleanly. So not bad. I just wanted it for the blade.

A great sword for under 15 bucks. The quality far exceeds the price. Sturdy and sharp. Look up soda samurai on you tube to see the great fun you can have with this beauty. I highly recommend this sword.

Of the three swords I bought only this one had a sharp edge to the blade. Judging by looks alone I would give this a 3 to 4 star out of 5. I have no idea about it's durability. I really like the look and feel of this sword. I'm sure my son will be pleased. The handle is wrapped nicely and feels good, but the cord covering the handle looks to be covering what is simply black electrical tape? Hey for $10.00 what the heck huh? The blade is very sharp and the point is deadly. I'd recommend it.

The blade on this sword is pretty bad**s for the price, but the sheath FAILS miserably. I have purchased several and have had to glue the seams of the sheath because they come apart. Didn't mind doing the extra work and was a great deal before the price increase.

a nice sharp blade and looks good but not for cutting stuff at all, to flimsy and hand wrapping comes off VERY easy. also the case its very cheaply made....not a bad show case sword though......

It is a good sword it came straight and for the most part without a flaw but i cut one small water bottle with it and the sword is already out of line plus it is not full tang the hilt wrapping is coming undone after 2 weeks of sparse swinging and the sheath was VERY low quality but for the price this is an ok sword

Lets start with the PROs; this sword is dirt cheep and come sharp right out of the box. Its hand wraps around the grip are very securely fastened. The tsuba is actually part of the sword so you dont need to worry about it coming loose. As for the CONs; This blade is way to thin if your thinking about chopping through trees/bushes that have the same circumference as a half dollar coin, it probably would work on zombies but not in a couple swings. The scabbard falls apart from sheathing and unsheathing without great care. OVERALL; this is a good sword for its price. The blade may start to bend after continuous use but its still a good blade.

I bought the sword and was amazed by how sharp and sturdy it was, but after a while the wrapping on the hilt came off to expose some wood chunks as the handle over a very crappy welded piece of metal, over this is a good sword, It'd be perfect if the hilt was solid as well.

Pretty good full tang sword but the handle wrap disappointed my brother and me its just a black trash bag and some cheap cord so of course even just holding it and doing a chopping motion made it start to get loose and even start to come off with in days. Made my brothers into a spear on bamboo.

It was an amazing sword while it lasted, came razor sharp right out of the box. It ended up breaking at the handle in mid-swing, could of hurt someone.

Well... it was a fun sword when I first got it, it looked cool, and was sharp enough. The first bad thing that happened was that the strap for the sheath broke when I was wearing it, the sword fell onto the kitchen floor. Then, the handle broke off, and flew several feet, dont mean to sound like an old granny, but it could have been dangerous. DISAPOINTING
