This would make a nice double set...As for the edge? If you can't polish up an edge on a factory sword then you probably shouldn't be buying them. a factory edge is as it states, a factory edge, Razor sharp and battle ready are advertising terms. Buyers should beware of that. Everything I buy comes out of the box and gets inspected for defects, then sharpened to my satisfaction, then polished... To each his own, but I have bought quite a few quality blades from trueswords & fully intend to continue my purchasing. Customer service is great & new items are added frequently enough for me... Great job trueswords.

I will say, if you want a battle ready sword buy from trueswords, and spend the extra 80 dollers, it is worth it, but i was really impressed becasue this sword for a display sword was well worth it. At first i thoguth it was a battle ready sword but iw as wrong. the paint is really nice, so is the handle, it is a real carbon steel blade, and the sword has a veary tight fit. I say buy this sword well worth a great piece of art work. I had great customer service form trueswords thankyou evan.

Better than I expected for $20.<br />The wrap is a much nicer bright red than the pic shows.<br />The saya's blood paint looks better than I thought.<br />The tsuba is sturdy, clean steel.<br />The blade is unsharpened,<br />you can see the silver steel on the cutting side<br />of the otherwise black and red blade.<br />Very very nice display piece, highly recommended.<br />Came ultra quick with the rest of my order.<br />Place it late Monday afternoon, shipped out 1 hour later,<br />Got it on Wednesday.<br />Very Nice TrueSwords! <br />Love the way you guys handle buisness.

It is a very good sword I but not that sharp.

There are only 2 words that can describe this sword... Simply Amazing!!! This sword for its price is amazing. The way that it is made is perfect, the balance of it is perfect, the guard is beautiful. The only things that I can say that this sword lacks is the way that the hilt was wrapped, it has already started to come off and I only swung it a couple of times. Another thing that lacks is the blood on the sword. Obviously it is spray paint there was no effort put into it. It was horribly done. Doesn't even look like blood. <br /><br />Other than that the sword is amazing expect for those two cons.

When i got this sword i thought it would be strong but it bent after i hit 4 thick branches. Then the top metal part came off one day when i was swinging it for a lil while. I also that the paint should have looked a lil cooler.
